Three weeks ago, the Washington Post Capital Weather Gang announced record Greenland melt, and record low Arctic sea ice.

The melt season is over. Greenland’s surface gained 170 billion tons of ice over the past year, which is in the normal range and more than three times as high as the gain in 2012.

Over the past three years, Greenland’s surface has gained 1.22 trillion tons of ice more than has melted. This is 140 billion tons above the 1981-2010 mean.

The Arctic sea ice melt season appears to have ended early. Extent is right at 2011-2018 average minimum and about 30% higher than the 2012 minimum.

There are only a small handful of stations in Australia with good long term daily temperature records. One is at the Richmond, Queensland Post Office.

That station shows no January/February warming since the 19th century.

Summer temperatures there closely correlate with ENSO cycles. The 2009 La Nina was the coolest Jan/Feb on record there. Subsequent El Nino years have been hot.

I noticed that some of their heatwaves correlate with US heatwaves – in particular 1901, 1913, the 1930s and 1994/1995 – which had extremely hot weather in much of the western US.

What does it mean?  I have no idea, other than the fact that climate scientists seem to have no understanding or interest in doing any actual science. Instead of changing or hiding the data – why not try to understand it?

The melt season in the Arctic has crashed and burned several weeks early. At least for now …

Experts describe this very slow melt in August as a “climate emergency” and say we “aren’t paying attention.” 

But they are wrong. I am paying close attention to their endless stream of lies and propaganda.

January/February, 1878 may have also been the hottest on record in Southeast Australia.

There was something going on in early 1878 which was making the world hot, and it wasn’t CO2. NASA used to know that it was warm in 1878, so they did what they normally do – they decided to hide the warmth prior to 1880.

Even in their 2000 version of the data, NASA showed the record warmth of 1878 about the same temperature as the ice age scare of the 1970s.  But then again, climate science has nothing to do with rational thinking or science.

Climate alarmists use children like Greta Thunberg for propaganda purposes.  They couldn’t care less about the well being of children.
