Seeing Red
Most people see light shades of red better than they see light shades of blue.
By increasing the saturation of the colors, it becomes much easier to see the blue.
Fifty one percent of the map is average or below average temperature, and 49% is above average temperature.
It was very cold in Colorado last night.
These are the views from the poles. Temperatures of -25C show up as red hot in these anomaly maps.
The next week is forecast to stay very cold in North America.
Global warming alarmists will cling to their faith and look for signs everywhere.

Maintaining The State Of Perpetual War
“We must guard against the acquisition of unwarranted influence, whether sought or unsought, by the military industrial complex. The potential for the disastrous rise of misplaced power exists and will persist.”
– President Eisenhower 1961
In order for a president to remain in office, he has to meet the deep state requirement of perpetual war.

Two Years Since Bill Gray Passed Away
Two years ago this week, my good friend Dr. Bill Gray passed away. He was a giant among men, in many ways.
One of the most important things he taught me was how thermohaline currents controlled the climate, driven by cyclical changes in mid-Atlantic surface salinity.
Now that global warming theory is in collapse, climate alarmists are blaming these cyclical changes on a 0.0001 mole fraction increase in atmospheric CO2 over the past century. Dr. Gray was a giant, but many of the other of the people in climate science are mental and moral midgets.

Dr. Bill Gray has passed away. He was my hero, and an inspiration.
Besides being a top tropical meteorologist and hurricane forecaster, Bill was a man of the highest integrity and character. Bill had his funding cut off by Al Gore in 1993 for refusing to go along with Gore’s global warming politics. Unlike so many others, Bill chose scientific integrity over politics and money, and fought against climate fraud to his last breath.
I spoke with Bill on Sunday by phone, and his last words to me were “I hear the beer is colder on the other side. We will have to have our next one there.” He kept his great sense of humor right up to the end.
I look forward to our next pint, but for now I am heartbroken. Bill passed away on a snowy day in Colorado. His late wife Nancy was Mayor of Fort Collins during the 1980’s, and was responsible for the great system of bike trails there.
Rest in Peace Bill. I will miss you terribly. Bill asked me to carry the climate torch forward for him the next few decades, and I promised him I would.

The Basic Physics Of The Arctic Meltdown
The world’s leading global warming expert/prophet, James Hansen of Columbia University and NASA, says the Arctic will be ice-free no later than this year. His work is based on settled science which 97% of the world scientists agree on.
The Argus-Press – Google News Archive Search
The basic physics behind this is that ice doesn’t melt at -30C.
Arctic sea ice extent is near the 1981-2010 median everywhere except for the Bering Sea.
Arctic sea ice is very thick, and volume continues to increase.
The melt season near the North Pole is only 70 days long, and in recent years has been colder than normal.
Ocean and Ice Services | Danmarks Meteorologiske Institut
It is difficult to melt fifteen feet of ice when the melt season is very short and temperatures rarely get above 1C. Nevertheless, NASA leading expert says the Arctic will be ice-free this summer. NASA also says we will have a new ice age by the year 2021.
U.S. Scientist Sees New Ice Age Coming
It is basic physics that ice doesn’t melt below the freezing point, and basic economics that many scientists will say whatever is necessary to keep funding coming in.

Thirty Years Since George Bush Ended The Greenhouse Effect
Many people believe Obama saved the planet in 2008, but George Herbert Walker Bush actually saved the planet twenty years earlier in 1988.
”Those who think we are powerless to do anything about the greenhouse effect forget about the ‘White House effect’; as President, I intend to do something about it,”
- George Bush Sr. August 31, 1988

Declining April 12 Temperatures In The US
Much of the US is cold this year, but April 12 used to be a warm day in the US – with 1930 and 1925 being the warmest. April 12 afternoon temperatures have declined since the 19th century.
On this date in 1930, about half of the US was over 80 degrees, with 70 degree weather covering almost the entire US.
