It’s not about making “correct” predictions. It’s about making ideologically sound predictions.
The IPCC tells us in Chapter 10 of their AR4 that in a warmer world there will be more evaporation, more water vapor and more precipitation. That Hansen screams drought, drought drought! is an indication that he cares not for the truth and everything for propaganda and politics. He was not to be believed in 1988 and he’s not to be believed today.
