I think you need to clarify that the “turnips” live on the front range. Those of us living on the west slope find ourselves governed by front range “know-nothing” turnips.

In fact, if we had our druthers we would join with eastern Utah and form our own state. We have most of the power production via dams on the Colorado, lots of uranium and of course 1.5 trillion barrels of oil. We also have lots of grape for wine and juicy peaches. What more could you want. Oh, the only elected democrat in my county is the coroner. Liberals are only qualified to talk to the dead.

Do you guys really think it’s only hippie liberals that like dope?

Btw, it’s still against federal law.

  4. It’s against federal law, but thanks to Obama and Eric Holder, and a Congress that refuses to impeach them, the drug thugs have the law out-gunned, and not just in the U.S.!

Will be interesting to see how the crime rates change over the next 4 years, and health care costs, and unemployment numbers….they MAY speak volumes by next election…

Sucks for you. Good for Texas!!

Pot is California’s top agricultural crop, utterly untaxed. Here come the men to rescue this situation from the boys and create a massive economic boom in two states akin to the California wine crop that created a massive tourism boom as well:

“Michael Shively is living the dream. A corporate strategy manager for Microsoft from 2003 to 2009 (and great-grandson of Diego Pellicer, the number one pot producer of the 19th century), Shively recently announce that he’s currently developing a premium cannabis retail business in Washington state.

“By creating the category of premium marijuana, we want to position it similar to a fine cognac, a fine brandy, a fine cigar,” Shively told KIRO TV. “Something to be savored and enjoyed in small quantities by responsible adults.”

    ———————————-

Liberalism, aka international socialism (which includes national socialism), is an evil, insidious disease that targets nonliberals for conversion, but attempts to co-opt them covertly, without the nonliberal’s conscious awareness.

To do so, liberalism targets issues where it can find a broad appeal outside the narrow bounds of economic liberalism. Recreational use of hallucinogenic drugs (to include abuse of hard liquor) is an example of such an issue.

Therefore, based on the above it should be apparent that a person can like dope and consider themselves to be nonliberal, but still in some sense be a liberal, since they are quietly controlled and steered by liberals toward the ultimate objective of liberalism — the complete control of all wealth and power, and the establishment of a perpetual reign of terror in the hearts of all men and women.

Dope is a liberal tool for weakening those who would oppose the above-mentioned plans and destroying their ability to effectively oppose liberalism.

“Green” environmental policy is another liberal tool for exactly the same purpose.

Their goal is, whatever one’s emotional weakness may be, to have an effective tool to exploit it.

    They are serious.

They are not a joke, and this is not a game or a fictional story. They are after planetary hegemony, and they are almost there. The question for each of us is, will we resist in a serious way, or just a half-hearted one … with one foot in each camp as the ship goes down … falling hook-line-and-sinker for one of their cheapest, most obvious hypnotic traps?

When it’s all said and done, will we be able to be proud of our efforts, or will we have to be ashamed of them?

Do you work for “The Onion” by any chance?

      • Richard T. Fowler says:

No I don’t, and I’m very offended that you would make a joke like that on such a serious question as I raised. There is a global communist conspiracy, it does seek to take over everything by weakening its opponents strength and judgment, it is well documented and even admitted to. I’m not going to relitigate it all right here just for your edification. Just know this: as dizzied and upset as you are by my words, is exactly as I was stricken by yours. Maybe there’s something to be learnt in that. Along the lines of “tyrrany of the majority”, perhaps?

We’re going down fast, you’re going down with us, you don’t even see it, and your words are like bailing water back into the boat while others are struggling to keep the pumps going at full power.

Oh, I almost forgot, the people who poked the holes are sitting there laughing hysterically at all of us for our Keystone Kop routine.

Best of fortune to you. You’re gonna need it.
