For starters, I refuse to vote for a single American politician (unless Chomsky runs for pres.) so DONT label me a Dem or Obamalover or whatever the fuck you call your sworn enemies. However, if you want to talk lies Ill talk lies. Weapons of Mass destruction, those were there right? The Vietnam War, going well right? The Patriot Act, not violating your civil liberties right? jim sensenbrenner, not a bigoted Nazi right? Mitt Romney, not cutting the hair off of homosexuals right? The housing market, growing growing growing right? The corporate elite, care about the rest of us right? Marijuana, Nancy says it’ll kill you right? Rush Limbaugh, not a drug addicted pig right? I can keep going, and they don’t all have to be comical. Further, lets talk numbers: What percent of people might lose their plan? 2, maybe 5, even 7 percent? Name another Republican piece of legislation that actually cared about the effects it would have on such a minority. Lets take away food stamps, no mention of the x percent that will starve. The truth is legislating is not an exact science, and general statements are made that don’t address certain minorities. Follow-up legislation is necessary to implement every large package of bills, however we won’t see that pass in a House hell-bent on stopping even the possibility of a successful bill, even at the expense of the entire country! But why should we expect any different? That’s how the right works, selfishly putting the profit of a small minority over the general well-being of the people as a whole. It isn’t a question of givers and takers, workers and moochers, its a question of moral development. Some of us are still in that “Me Me Me Profit Profit Profit above all else” two-year old stage, while others are reaching a more altruistic stage that actually requires you to care about your neighbor.

Gore is a true altruistic person. After all, he’s trying to save humanity and it’s only brought him over 200 million so far. Democrats are good at covering themselves with altruistic fronts like the Clinton Foundation. Democrats don’t make profits because they don’t have a product but an ideology which people contribute to in order to “save” whatever. They are a bunch of them, all operating on “send your maximum tax deductible contribution to (fill in name) to help us save the (fill in blank).
It’s not “caring about your neighbor” that drives the baker to get up early and bake bread, but profits, the desire to have whatever it may be that he considers worth his labor. People’s labor, risks and investments, in time and energy, are worth something and this something is called profit, whether it be a person or a business. It’s why the western world stands in such stark contrast to communist countries and yet they are demonized.
The Kochs are bad in the eyes of democrats since they make profits on products and services while George Soros, the owner of the democrat party as parodied by SNL, goes around betting currency markets and he is a good guy.
It’s very difficult to understand, other than people are simply jealous or envious that they aren’t rich. I had a friend, once, who was a HS dropout and he raged against “Republicans who only wanted to make rich people richer.” He hated people with money and didn’t realize he was simply jealous and coping with his own failures.
