Dr. Spencer is lashing out (and I am going to support him)

There is a lot more than magic about AGW…I’ve collected a series of miracles

Nice article at your link — and even more fun going through the comments.
In a way it is sort of sad, the attempts we make to disabuse the supporters of CAGW. Honestly, if they did not want to impose their control over so much of our lives and how we live, I would be very happy to just leave them to their beliefs. Instead, we keep pointing out how the so-called “climate scientists” are no scientists at all — and they keep reacting with such violent, emotional, irrational denial of the actual data. Can you imagine what it must be like to be a person whose most dearly held belief is that the entire Earth and its biosphere will become another Venus? What has driven these people (still our brothers, despite all they have done) to so strongly embrace a certainty that humanity will, and must be, destroyed?
It’s not about climate science or the weather, it’s about getting their agenda going as soon as possible. That is why they react so badly to anyone who says that the emperor has no clothes. They are going to lose THIS fight because it’s obviously wrong.
Jimbo, there appears to be someone who shares your namesake trolling on Roy Spencer’s blog.
The same as its ever been…
For a long time the sense was that the warmists were always talking about the future damage of global warming. But I think with temperatures flatlining and ALL their models being wildly off the mark, they got to start jumping up and down like monkeys to try to create a distraction, and one thing they’ve started saying is that
global warminger climate change is causing damage right now. What, is the damage the pipes bursting in freezing weather? Or is it hurricanes etc? But hurricanes, and tornadoes, are deaths due to extreme weather, are down, way down. Is the damage due to the sea level rising in to people’s living rooms? No, the sea level is just the same as its ever been, despite the “data” showing a few milometers of rise. There’s no current damage from Mann made climate change, and there’s not going to be any future damage either. It’sbullsh}tMannShit.Alarmists are upset that there were not huge fatalities due to the recent tornado outbreak. They were already saying how unusual tornadoes are in February, when they are actually quite common. During February 1884, a massive tornado outbreak in the Southeast caused 500 fatalities.
