Could A Carbon Tax Have Prevented The 1815 Hurricane In Providence?

Most certainly!!!
We would have ended up with just a benign, gentle breeze, and President Madison could have gathered enough tax revenue to re-paint the White House!!!
If the US Govt spent millions on windmills, it might have triggered a second American Revolution. “The cumulative total that German consumers have spent subsidising green energy is set to pass €100bn next year (2014).”

And most Germans thank God on their naked knees that they didn’t have a cold winter.
And we still bought a wood fired stove. Just in case…
At the time it struck, the Great September Gale was the first hurricane to strike New England in 180 years.

The 1815 eruption of Mount Tambora was one of the most powerful in recorded history and classified as a VEI-7 event. Mount Tambora is on the island of Sumbawa in Indonesia. The eruption that began on 10 April 1815 was preceded by between six months and three years of increased steaming and small phreatic eruptions. The eruption column lowered global temperatures, and some experts believe this led to GLOBAL COOLING and worldwide harvest failures, sometimes known as the Year Without a Summer.

Surely if algore had been alive he could have convinced the Volcano that man was sorry for causing glo-bull warming and to please not erupt. /s
I am starting to think that we may be forced to accept a carbon tax. Otherwise, NASA will continue cooling the past until all of our ancestors have been killed by the global freezing. How can we survive today if NASA kills all of our predecessors of 200 years ago?
