I used to just shake my head in disappointment with these taxpayer-funded miscreants….Now I am really, really angry at these criminals.

    Different dates of release???

  3. anthonyvioli says:

Don Easterbrook should send that to the senator who said he had a hard time believing NASA would adjust data.

  4. Robertv says:

That’s the long time effect of gravity. NASA always has problems with gravity.

  5. John B says:

But you have to admit, these Manmade CO2 emissions are clever stuff: they can make the future warmer, the past colder, whilst having absolutely no effect on the present.

    Now that’s magic.

  6. Andy DC says:

As the weather turns colder, the cheating becomes more and more blatant.

  7. Sleepalot says:

Comparing the earlier version of GISS with CRUtem3 I see another, prior fraud.
They are ostensibly the same for 1896 to 1960, but GISS knocks off between 0.5 and 1C every year from 1961 to 1970.
After 1970, most years of CRUtem3 are mangled out of usefulness, but where annual averages can be calculated, they roughly agree with GISS.

  8. londo says:

Another 20 years of adjustments and the little ice age will become a real ice age. New research will show that the Holocene is only 300 years old.

  9. 3x2 says:

Looks like a lesser version of Iceland. Iron out everything beyond ‘living memory’.

Pants on fire as the models fail. Don’t change the model – play around with the target.

  10. hifast says:

So, even with the manipulated data, their version shows a plateau. And…what they’re trying to tell me is this equatorial station 100 mi from the Atlantic was a good 3degC (5F) cooler a century ago? Hogwash, poppycock, and baloney!
