Mosher says that GISS is an accurate representation of their set of stations. If that is true, the only sensible explanation for the changes in GISS over time, is that the set of stations has been altered to remove stations which were warmer in the past.
Either way, GISS is complete garbage.
But then of course, there are US temperatures – which are being altered right in front of our eyes.

I wonder if it is possible to reverse engineer the algorithm they must have used to derive their ‘adjustment’. It looks like the zero is set at the year 1962.
The end adjustment is very simple. It is a linear function which increasingly deducts from older temperatures. Complete fraud.
