Republicans Announce That They Are Complicit With Obama’s Destruction Of The US

Sen. Mike Lee, R-Utah, told “Fox News Sunday” that congressional Republicans think the president abused the government’s separation of powers by using the executive orders to sidestep Congress and delay the law’s employer mandate.

However, he said critics would be challenged to win in court because Congress lacks the so-called “legal standing” to present the case and they would have a “tough time” finding somebody hurt enough by the delays to be a good plaintiff.

Republicans: Obama violating Constitution, but little can be done about it | Fox News

In other words, Republicans are giving Obama the green light, and cover – by pretending that they are trying to stop him.

Primary Objective of Democratic Politicians: move the country to total collectivism as quickly as possible.
Primary Objective of Republican Politicians: provide an alternative to the Democrats by moving the country to total collectivism more slowly.

Sadly, there are very few exceptions. Lots of talk about minimal government, individual freedom, and fiscal conservatism, but almost no substance.

      Thank you.

How is it not obvious that the commies run both parties? The real power behind the authoritatarian collectivism is those who own the largest financial and corporate centers.

They want totalitarianism, whether you call it socialism, fascism, communism, neoconservatism or neoliberalism.

Why demolish the school and “melt it down” ( see Guardian story)? That’s bizarre. Columbine high is still there. A monument to the victims of a tragic massacre.

    Traitorous pieces of shit….

  5. Stephen Richards says:

Steven, I think they have come to the conclusion that Obummer has rigged the system such that it would be difficult and costly to win. Evidence from the court cases involving EPA would suggest they are right. USA is on the long slippery slope to be europe.

  6. Morgan says:

They would impair him if they impeach him.

  7. Bob Greene says:

The only way to stop him is to impeach him. That won’t go through the senate.

    • Gamecock says:

Impeachment isn’t the only tool. The House can unfund everything.

When Obama, CBS, NBS, and ABS scream, “You shut down the government,” the Republicans can respond, “Damn right we did!” A cheer would rise across the land.

      • Bob Greene says:

In September when those same screams came about because the evil Tea Party wouldn’t negotiate the GOP leadership folded. Never mind that Reid and Obama refused to negotiate. Never mind that Obama went out of his way to punish the American people and got no blame, because it was those evil Republicans that caused this. The GOP leadership, those professed deficit hawks, have done nothing in decreasing the deficit or even trying to control it in either the budget or the debt ceiling. My congresscritter is the House Majority leader. Listen to what he says and watch what he does. Defund the government until Obama decides to follow the constitution? They either don’t have the intestinal fortitude or are complicit with the actions.

        • Gamecock says:

Agreed. Establishment Republicans are adolescents, willing to do anything to be accepted by the in crowd.

The clique will never like them. It’s obvious to everyone except the Republican leadership.

I’m proud to say that most of South Carolina is well represented in the House. Indeed, Trey Gowdy is the best argument against term limits.

Apparently you guys live in an alternate universe as to what happened last fall. You guys seem to forget the bottom falling out of our poll numbers. There was nothing Obama wanted more than to keep that going with us getting killed in the press day after day. What incentive was there for Obama to negotiate? The only two week period in the past six months when Obamacare wasn’t hurting Obama was during that two week shutdown. Amazingly, you still think the leadership “caving” was the problem. Some people never learn I guess. I’d love it if the Tea Party types used a little strategic thinking in the positions they took, but whatever.

        • Republicans are likely to take over the Senate this fall, because Ted Cruz and the Tea Party made clear that Obamacare was completely the Democrats problem. Boehner did everything he could to sabotage the Republicans.

        • Andy DC says:

Unfortunately, the “establishment’ Republicans are in firm control of the party. Just look at the various puppets they have nominated since Reagan. I doubt if anything will change this time. The conservatives (along wit the media) will take turns knocking each other down and some lightweight will get the nomination.

No, cheers went up across the country. The MSM reported gloom and doom, in support of their Democrat partners.

  8. Anto says:

There is no Republican or Democrat. There is only the “political class” and their rich donors, then the rest of us. At the end of the day, all politicians – regardless of the colors they don in public – are only out for themselves.

  11. Roger Fraley says:

Supreme Court case Coleman v. Miller gives standing only to a legislator who voted for a law not enforced. Other Supreme Court cases don’t give it to any one. So the only chance for a successful suit is by a Democrat who voted for the ACA but who loves the nation enough to challenge Obama’s lawlessness. There are, sadly, none.

    • Jeff says:

Or a state government suing that everyone in his/her state should be exempt under the 14th amendment equal protection statute. Laws must be applied equally and not arbitrarily.

  12. hocuspocus13 says:

through all this and our current administration, the american people have discovered who they really are, what’s in their hearts, how they want to live their daily lives, what they believe in and the american future for themselves, their children and grandchildren…they are republicans

  13. February 17 says:

Mike Lee is hardly giving Obama the green light, but elections have consequences and we can thank Ohio, Florida and Colorado for the nonsense going on right now.

  14. Mary Wilson says:

Alberto Gonzalez said “courts usually show deference to suits against Presidential use of Executive orders or actions” Not good.

  15. Dan_Kurt says:

Don’t fret. Justice will be served when the collapse commences in the not too distant future: probably this year. The whole world is essentially a cluster f**k of governments holding up spinning plates on sticks. When the plates begin to fall the fun will begin. The problem is that usually Strong Men take over.
