Temperature Record Corrections Always Go In The Same Direction

For almost 35 years, NASA has been altering the temperature record to make the slope of warming appear steeper. The  large change below was made just over  a year ago. These changes have occurred repeatedly and consistently – and almost invariably in the same direction.

I am very curious about what is happening to the climate on Mars. Haven’t heard anything in a year, even though we have excellent orbital and surface monitoring for the last long while.

Does Martian climate correlate to earth? Is the solar component evinced?

    • mpcraig says:

I’m as much a skeptic as the next guy but I don’t think Mars climate has a relation to Earth. With the lack of surface water and thus water vapor and the thinness of the atmosphere, I would assume that the surface temperatures would be almost solely due to solar insolation and orbital mechanics.

      • Louis Hooffstetter says:

You may be correct. But it would certainly be interesting to compare earth / Mars temperature data sets to see whether or not there appears to be a relationship. If there is, it would lend credence to the idea that solar influence has a greater effect on our climate than most climastrologists believe. Mars temperature data could provide a valuable frame of reference for determining the magnitude of solar forcing.

Temperature corrections going only one way is certainly an AGW truism. One would expect a Gaussian distribution of adjustments.

Another truism I have surmised is this:

    Warming –>> due to CO2
Reduced warming –>> due to natural variability

  3. Louis Hooffstetter says:

Has anyone ever seen a temperature adjustment that does not cool the past and/or warm the present?

  4. How does one change the standard deviation like that at the same time?

Would love to cite to this, but can we get the dates added back at the bottom of the graphs?

Wonder how they’ll ‘adjust’ Green Bay in the future. Record number of sub zero days at 49, and counting.

If observations do not match the theory, change the observations. Welcome to the Brave New World of post modern science.

Big cold requires even bigger “revisions”. The scam must go on at any cost.

This site is a very valuable repository of data and documented history of fraud by NASA, GISS, HADCRUT ect. It will be used in the future to bring these criminals to justice we hope.

Adjusting the temperatures, and thus corrupting the science, is justified by this administration (and Western governments) to ensure that busness and technological progress is stalled so that the mythical era of a settled climate can return. Energy price needlessly skyrocket because theses administrations still, unjustifiably, blame the live giving gas CO2.
