You (and other skeptical sites) are showing the world that temperature adjustments are wrong.
This not only shows that the temperature data are tainted, it also fatally refutes the UN-IPCC claim of CO2 mediated global warming, there is no warming.
So proof that since 2000 no warming has happened alarms the IPCC and all the grant trough feeders, no warming, no CO2 to blame, no money!
– without the CO2 part the UN-IPCC has nothing —

… it’s all just normal, naturally variable, weather.
Just checked my local station’s (Tappahannock, VA) history. July had 4 days over 90F and none so far in August. No 100s anywhere in sight. Been many years since this has happened. Of course, the records could be raised once they correct that dismal station. Been in service 7 years, so undoubtedly inaccurate.
I was thinking more in centuries than decades. But that could put me in the climate field instead of weather.
Still VA has had some very harsh weather in its historical past.

The BBC are real scammers. Just classic is that headline. A bit like negative growth.
i know I said the warming would continue today, but this time it’s different. It’ll definitely start warming in ten years time.
This time it’s different I’ll never hit you again.
It’s the deniers fault they stopped the warming.
But they said that AGW was causing the Atlantic to get warmer, and that is why they need to detrend the AMO index to compare with the index of the beginning of the XX century!!
Therefore, according to the models, AGW is warming the Atlantic and, consequently, the Atlantic is now cooling and causing the “hiatus” in the warming trend!!

The more I read that line, the funnier it gets….
Shouldn’t even use the words like “hiatus”, “slowdown” or “pause”, as that implies one knows what it will do in the future, which of course they don’t. Scientifically, it has stopped.
And they’re still using the word “slowdown” – as if it were still warming. (At least that’s what the word means to me. But I haven’t consulted with Humpty Dumpty lately.)
