The Man Who Stood Up To Obama – Running For President

There have only been two potential candidates with enough balls to stand up to the little dictator. One was Sarah Palin and the other was this guy – Ben Carson. He lectured Obama right to his face during the one event where Obama couldn’t shut him up or walk away.

I’d love to see a Carson/Palin presidency, to restore America back to sanity.

  1. Jimmy Haigh. says:

I’d love it if Carson ran if only to see what the Liberals would do- because to vote against him would surely be racist…

  2. As much as I like Ben Carlson, I am seeing evidence that he is being absorbed and co-opted into the Republican establishment, perhaps as a defensive measure. That’s not a good sign. I’ll keep an eye peeled, but at this moment my strong favorite is Ted Cruz, the most accomplished attorney in the Senate and the most serious and experienced Constitutional conservative.

I would much rather see a Carson / Cruz ticket … I’m sorry, while I agree with a lot of what Palin says, I don’t believe Palin is executive material.

    • squid2112 says:

Or perhaps even a Cruz / Carson ticket would be better?

    • Lou says:

Palin was a governor so I would think she’d know one or two things about executive…

      • Emanuelle Goldstein says:

At this point, she’s been so damaged by bad press that a whole segment of the public outright dismisses her. People who know her, know the truth but I’m afraid she’s damaged goods as far as any candidacy goes.

    • Traitor in Chief says:

Can we fit Allen West in there somewhere? Preferably armed. I’d like to see a President who knows how to blast a varmint or two.

  4. Mike says:

Image a Carson vs Obama debate? That would be fun to watch.

    • Republicans prefer to pit incoherent bumblers like John McCain vs. Obama

      • Traitor in Chief says:

I question whether the choices we’ve had were the selections of the GOP or not. Particularly McStain. I think he was foisted on us by the left. I think they have far greater control of the process than people think. If you recall, McStain’s campaign saw a sudden infusion of cash that pushed him to the forefront.

Bungo was ready to join Carter in the dustbin of history when his poll numbers suddenly jumped before the election.

  5. Lou says:

Cruz is another option. He is an excellent debater…

  6. Lou says:

Rand Paul is also another one that might pull in Democrats voting for him. No candiate is perfect but Carson, Palin, Cruz and Paul are my top choices. No more RINO idiots like Boehner, McCain, etc.

  7. darrylb says:

Ben watching Ben Carson for a while—He is terrific and formidable.
Sarah Palin simply was not ready six years ago. She is better now, but I am not sure-maybe.

  8. darrylb says:

I would very much trust him on domestic policy.
It is the foreign policy that I do not know about. A weakness in our constitution is that the president automatically becomes commander in chief.—-= with never having served in the military can never understand the emotions involved.

  9. R. Shearer says:

What’s the worst the Repubs can offer, Romney? Then, Romney it is.

  10. D. Self says:

I am sure the State Run Media is already having brainstorming sessions on how to vilify Doctor Carson. He is a legit threat to liberalism’s divisive ways.

  11. BobW in NC says:

CARSON FOR PRESIDENT!!! Am praying for his protection from the state run media, D. Self, and that he pointedly and clearly addresses his detractors and puts them to shame!
    .
This man would put a real twist in the knickers of liberals and restore sanity in our country.

  12. John B., M.D. says:

    Tony,
However, Palin has shown no learning curve. She also speaks in run-on sentences. She is a good woman, but has shown no ability to grow.

  13. Leaders can’t restore the sanity of people who do or don’t vote for them. Leaders come from the people. In a democracy, the people lead.

    • Gail Combs says:

Joe, Where have you been for the last century?

This country is a REPUBLIC run by the elite for the elite. It doesn’t matter who is the current puppet in the White House they own him and if he gets uppity, think of what happened to Congressman McFadden among others.
