The Nightmare For Arctic Alarmists Is Just Beginning

The last two years have been a real Arctic nightmare for greens who hate the human race, but it gets much worse. There has been a massive increase in the amount of oldest and thickest sea ice in the Arctic over the past three years, and next year is set to double the amount of five+ year old ice.

This is what the map is going to look like (more or less) in October, after the ice has its next birthday. A huge amount of 5+ year old ice. Next year is shaping up to be a complete catastrophe for Arctic alarmists.

I bet it is getting really hard to deny there is a cyclic phenomenom going on in there.

“I bet it is getting really hard to deny there is a cyclic phenomenom going on in there.”

I look at HADCRUT4 temperature, and I see a 33 year peak to trough cycle, and 2014 minus 1979, when sea ice measurement began, is 35 years.

  3. philjourdan says:

Just wait! In another 30 years it will be gone! Err, maybe 60. 70?

  4. stewart pid says:

Excellent … nothing is finer than watching them spin and lie as their scam crashes around them. It is indeed worse than the obsessive-compulsive alarmists thought 😉

  5. drtim12 says:

    once again:
Science is the father of knowledge, but opinion breeds ignorance.
    Hippocrates

There are in fact two things, science and opinion; the former begets knowledge, the later ignorance.
    Hippocrates

They are disguising opinion for facts just like the their leader the pathological Narcissistic President.

  6. Hugh K says:

    Nightmare or continued hallucination?
Warmists take a cruise to Antarctica to study the ‘disappearing’ ice, get stuck in the ‘disappearing’ ice, have to be rescued from the ‘disappearing’ ice by an icebreaker, all the while another rescue icebreaker gets stuck in the very same ‘disappearing’ ice and continue to claim the very ‘disappearing’ ice they were finally rescued from is still…..’disappearing’. Major media yawns, repeat study.

    • It is I only says:

That has happened in Antarctica last Christmas (Summer time)
After the rescue a “respected” scientist said. All the warm water went to the bottom of the ocean pushing cold water to the surface which has created this ice!
Believe it or not! New “respected” physics!

  7. pesce9991 says:

Hippocrates is right on the money. The ones with the facts are the scientists, not the deniers. In my opinion.

    • gator69 says:

You of course mean the natural variability deniers.

      • pesce9991 says:

        Ain’t no such animal, gator.

      • Dmh says:

Let’s see what the natural variability deniers will say next year, Gator.
At some point, I believe, *if* they’re rational, they’ll be speechless.
        Let’s see.

        • Loki says:

They are NOT rational. It would not be surprising, in twenty years or so, to hear of diehard CAGW politicians still trying to alarm us, even if folks are then skating on the Potomac in winter! They might lose their audience and offices if we are lucky, but not their religion.

    • geran says:

and you get to have your “facts” WRONG….

      • pesce9991 says:

yep, geran, so do you. I just choose not to.

        • geran says:

Like you said, that is your opinion. Your “opinion” is not science (fact), but you think it is. Thinking your opinion is “fact”, is what makes you hilarious here.

      • pesce9991 says:

Well, geran, you are confused again. I stated it was my opinion. But my opinions are based on fact. Not on my opinions.

    • I presume you actually believe the fabrication about “97%” of scientists yada, yada, yada? The only “facts” that they seem to hang their hats on are made up ones (e.g., the infamous “hockey stick”) or the proven fallacious forecasts of their climate forecast models.

    • Jl says:

Gee, it’s almost like you can’t refute what Steve says in this post. But you do a good job, like most climate astrologers do when they can’t argue a point, to squeeze in the “my scientists are better than your scientists!” mantra.

    • _Jim says:

Since you appear to be very young and so utterly fawking stupid, you may never have heard this saying before:

Opinion is really the lowest form of human knowledge.

It requires no accountability, no understanding.

The highest form of knowledge… is empathy, for it requires us to suspend our egos and live in another’s world. It requires profound purpose larger than the self kind of understanding.

Like I have said before, you are so utterly fawking stupid to the point of being painful when ‘read’ … and I feel a LOT of the other’s pain when they read your posts.

Because you are so utterly fawking stupid.

    • philjourdan says:

More petty ad hominems from the resident bi-polar poster. So what is being denied? I am sure a canned response will ensue.

      • pesce9991 says:

You are hysterical! Accusing me of ad hominems when there are none and then using one in the same sentence!
What is being denied? you ask…….. answering your question because it is actually a really stupid question.
        (that’s not an ad hominem)

        • philjourdan says:

You really are bi-polar! I thought it was a joke, but you are the joke! Ad hominem? Try deniers. Oh! Yea, everyone here denies the holocaust and climate!

Here’s a clue for the resident bi-polar kid. If you have no clue on what a term means and its connotations, do not use it! DUH! Homer Simpson is not that stupid!

And I used none. Perhaps you were referring to “bi-polar”? That is descriptive, not an ad hominem. Your 2 personas are evidence of a bi-polar personality. Or do you have more and we just missed a few?

Seriously, you need to learn to read, write, and understand English. Spelling and Grammar!

  8. Donkeykoch says:

why is there a luxury cruise going thru the North-West passage right now – they say this is because of GW that this is possible – http://www.polarcruises.com/arctic/destinations/northwest-passage

    • stewart pid says:

No … it is because of the ship being an ice breaker that this trip is possible. Regular ships are still waiting for the ice to melt.
A state-of-the-art 1A ice-class expedition ship, National Geographic Explorer accommodates 148 guests in 81 outside cabins. It is fully stabilized. Ships of the highest ice class, 1A Super, are designed to operate in difficult ice conditions mainly without icebreaker assistance while ships of lower ice classes 1A, 1B and 1C are assumed to rely on icebreaker assistance. So from what is written it appears that the “polar cruise” has a big ice breaker for assistance getting through the ice that GLO-BULL warming can’t melt 😉

    • geran says:

      Two thoughts, Donkey:
      1) As always, follow-the-money (“luxury cruise”), and
      2) It’s called the Northwest PASSAGE for a reason!

    • Glacierman says:

Yea, the NG Explorer, Sliver Explorer, Sea Adventurer, are all currently within a few miles of the Greenland coast. No cruise ships in the NW Passage. I wonder why????

shhh, i have a string of people lined up for ice free arctic bets ,if they see this post and comments i will not have any takers .

  9. David Bury says:

Always remember that these so-called weather scientists depend upon government grants to support their research. Guess who wants to recommend a negative report to this administration?

  10. Dmh says:

“Next year is shaping up to be a complete catastrophe for Arctic alarmists.”
I tend to agree with this prediction, unless some very, very unusual phenomenon happen with the influx of energy from the Sun, like a 3rd peak in the present cycle or something equivalent.
All more important climate indicators (ENSO, PDO, AMO, AO, MYI position, NP average temps in the last 2 years, etc.), *all of them*, are pointing in this direction.

  11. Chewer says:

The growth is within the linear bounds of swelling, commonly seen after a swift kick to the family jewels 😉
