This idea is derived from Colin Kelley’s 2015 paper “Climate change in the fertile crescent ….” in which he does make a convincing argument that the 2007-2009 drought may have contributed to civil unrest that began in 2011 but he presents no evidence that climate change has caused an increase in the frequency or severity of droughts. That part of the argument rests on what the models say could happen by 2100.
The drought caused Muslims to chop people’s heads off, and Christians to have their heads chopped off. Makes perfect sense.
The normal response to drought, throughout history, is to carry machine guns hundreds of miles to rock concerts and kill dozens of people. They didn’t do this in Woodstock because it was raining, but if there had been a drought that summer in Bethel, NY, we can be sure there would have been thirsty Moslems with carving knives like three blind mice, have you ever seen such a sight in your life??

The answer is islam is the best religion for a worldwide totalitarian government.
It already has a ‘law’ — Sharia Law — that has brutal sentences for anyone who deviates from the ‘One True Path’ This is backed up by teachings and brainwashing from the cradle. It also allows all sorts of perversions IF you are a member of the ruling elite. Best of all there is no real court system that allows NULLIFICATION, by a jury of peasants who JUDGE THE LAW. Instead you have “high priests” issuing fatwas — a ruling on a point of Islamic law given by a recognized authority.
As I have shown, Marxism is all about getting the middle class back under the control of the elite and reducing them to serf status. Islam never made it out of the 12th century while Christianity lead to the Enlightenment. So for a totalitarian government, islam is a much better religion to inflict on the peasants.
Very interesting point. Yes, TPTB seem to always back the most tyrannical choice available. After all, they see themselves as running the new system. As has been pointed out, there are really only two competing political ideologies: collectivists and individualists. The US was one of the greatest success stories of that individualists approach.
