Last night on the news they stated the 52% of the French population was opposed to taking in the so called “refugee stream”. IOW, over there, just like here in the US, the government, ignoring the will of the majority of the people, is doing what IT wants.
About 7.5% of France is Muslim, about 6.5% of the US is Muslim.

Obviously those that did that attack were not “refugees”. They were trained and coordinated mass murdering assassins. As far as I know it has not been determined exactly what their status was. However there is a high probability that at least some of them were French Nationals which went to Syria to fight the Jihad and then returned with the intention of carrying out the attack. It is just plain crazy not to pull the citizenship of such people and to allow them back in.
The OBVIOUS fact is that the strain of refugees is overburdening the security apparatus thus facilitating the ability for cells of terrorists to go undetected and carry out such attacks. And the refugees are arriving with little or no documentation and thus there is no data available to know who they really are or what their actual history is. BTW according to a French security official last night, the vast majority of “refugees” are males between 18 and 30 years of age. The EXACT demographic of the majority of Jihadist radicals which perpetrate such attacks.
Again the FIRST responsibility a nations leadership has is to the liberties and security of it’s legal citizens. The US, UK, France, and most of the western European countries are forsaking that responsibility with their open borders.

I doubt it. Most folks would think the thing is made of steel simply because they have little idea of what the difference is and know little or nothing about the history of steel making. Others because they wouldn’t know that tower was intended to be a temporary structure and so using structural Iron instead of the more expensive steel made good economic sense.
I grew up in the metals and fabricating business so have a pretty good feel for how ignorant most people are about such things. This is my families business which I started working in when I was 9 years old during the summer.
