Global Climate Lying Has Increased Much More Than Political Average

The latest scam is claiming that Antarctica is warming very fast.

Global Warming: Antarctica Has Warmed Much More Than Earth Average : Science : iTech Post

Even top climate fraudster Gavin Schmidt knows that Antarctica is not warming.

Fake climate news is the new normal among journalists. Antarctica is cooling, not warming,

  1. Steve Case says:

Almost all of Antarctica is below freezing all of the time. So in the words of a famous U.S. politician, “What difference does it make?”

  2. RAH says:

All of that lying is accomplishing little as far as persuading the people in general that we are doomed due to human caused climate change.

  3. oldbrew says:

Only a year ago NASA came to the opposite conclusion.

NASA Study, October 2015: Mass Gains of Antarctic Ice Sheet Greater than Losses
    Antarctic Peninsula

A new NASA study says that an increase in Antarctic snow accumulation that began 10,000 years ago is currently adding enough ice to the continent to outweigh the increased losses from its thinning glaciers.

  4. Eric Simpson says:

    “lying has increased”
No surprise as the climate loons from the start proclaimed that they should lie:
“It doesn’t matter what is true, it only matters what people believe is true.” -Paul Watson, Greenpeace
“We have to offer up scary scenarios… each of us has to decide the right balance between being effective and being honest.” -Stephen Schneider, lead IPCC author, 1989
“Unless we announce disasters no one will listen.” -Sir John Houghton, first IPCC chair
“The only way to get our society to truly change is to frighten people with the possibility of a catastrophe.” -Daniel Botkin, ex Chair of Envinronmental Studies, UCSB
“Only sensational exaggeration makes the kind of story that will get politicians’ attention… this is the only way to assure any political action and [get] more federal financing.” -Monika Kopacz, Atmospheric Scientist
“I would freely admit that on [global warming] we have crossed the boundary from news reporting to advocacy.” -Charles Alexander, Time Magazine Science Editor
“I believe it is appropriate to have an over-representation of factual presentations on how dangerous it is, as a predicate for opening up the audience.” -Lyin’ Al Gore
“Rather than seeing models as describing literal truth, we ought to see them as convenient fictions which try to provide something useful [propaganda].” -David Frame, Oxford U.

Hence, this type of lying bullsh|t never ceases:
“Entire nations could be wiped off the face of the Earth by rising sea levels if the global warming trend is not reversed by the year 2000. Coastal flooding and crop failures would create an exodus of eco-refugees, threatening political chaos.” -Noel Brown, ex UNEP Director, 1989

    • Andy DC says:

Are these “climate scientists” so arrogant that they did not believe that anyone would ever bother to fact check their work?

I make no pretense of being a scientist, but by simply looking at lots of raw station data at the NOAA library, it quickly became painfully obvious, even to an interested layperson (me), that their claims were wildly exaggerated.

It appears in retrospect that their strategy of making false and wildly exaggerated claims based on subjectively manipulated data was going to backfire. That is because sooner or later, people (like Tony) were bound to catch them red handed and expose their fraud to the greater public. Once their credibility is torn asunder, it is virtually impossible for them to ever be believed in the future.

  5. AndyG55 says:

    UAH So Pol graph.

    • Theyouk says:

Wow…the slope of that line is utterly terrifying… (sarc)

In all seriousness, there *appears* to be less inter-annual variability post the year 2000–but that’s just these old eyeballs talking.

  6. Rud Istvan says:

You have to dig. The post reference is to a new Antarctic borehole paper by Chuffey et. al. Same gang previously screwed up a borehole paper on Greenland. This new paper is even worse concerning Antarctica during the Holocene. Got thoroughly discredited earlier today at WUWT. I made a small contribution. To quote Heisenberg, this paper is so bad its not even wrong. But picked and amplified by the warmunist echo chamber. And correctly called out here as factually wrong concerning polar amplification implications. That is just one of several fatal flaws.

  7. dave1billion says:

Reading that article made my brain hurt.

“Scientists believe that Antarctica has been much warmer than the rest of the Earth between 20,000 to 10,000 years ago .This was the time of the last Ice Age. Antarctica then was on average about rose to about 11 degrees Celsius warmer. The Earth then only had its temperature rise by 4 degrees Celsius.”

I can’t help but feel a little stupider after reading that. Could that be by design to make people who read this article more susceptible to AGW propaganda?

  8. RAH says:

I’m really not sure that the premise of this post is correct. I submit this outstanding article from the Washington Free Beacon that goes through the history of the NYT battle against “fake, bias-confirming news”. It really is hilarious chronical of the major stories in the NYT during the last election cycle and worth the read.

    • Gail Combs says:

“…the history of the NYT battle against “fake, bias-confirming news”” starts with Walter Duranty who saw to it that the Soviet Union survived by convincing Americans it was OK to recognize the USSR and give it access to trade…. Sound familiar??? It should since it was the same pattern used to shore-up Communist China and make it the leading economic/military power in the world.

A quick history of the betrayal of the USA by American politicians.

In 1934 Congressman McFadden outlines how the Federal Reserve/International Bankers cleared the way for L e n i n to travel from NYC to Russia and gave him the gold to finance the 1917 Bolshevik Revolution.

WTO Director-General Pascal Lamy said in the 1930’s World Leaders agreed to forming a world government and destroying national sovereignty. This would be FDR doing the agreeing.

Col. Curtis B. Dall writes In FDR: My Exploited Father-in-Law, tells of how FDR’s “…thoughts, his political ‘ammunition’…were carefully manufactured for him in advance by the CFR-One World Money group. Brilliantly… he exploded that prepared ‘ammunition’ in the middle of an unsuspecting target, the American people — and thus paid off and retained his internationalist political support.”

FDR was the president who confiscated the gold of the American people. His 1933 executive order #1602 outlawed the private ownership of gold and gave it to the international bankers.

This book by Dennis J. Dunn, Caught Between Roosevelt and Stalin: America’s Ambassadors to Moscow expands on the betrayal of the American people.

      >”….To implement the double standard, the Roosevelt School had to mislead public opinion and circumvent the foreign policy professionals for much of the relationship with Stalin. When FDR was running for president in 1932, there was no broad-based support for be-friending the Soviet Union…. Every American administration since the Bolshevik Revolution in 1917, from Wilson to Hoover, had steadfastly refused to exchange ambassadors with Soviet Russia. The reason was that the Soviet Government supported international revolution and the overthrow of the American government through the Communist International….

…..FDR determined before he was elected president that he had to change public opinion on Stalin and the Soviet Union. During the 1932 presidebtial campaign he held a well-publicized meeting with Walter Duranty… After winning the presidency, FDR increased support for recognition and further improved Stalin’s image by arguing that diplomatic relations with the Kremlin would quiet the winds of aggression in Asia and Europe…. By 1933 he finally won over public opinion in favor of recognition and simultaneously frustrated the Russianexperts in the State Department…

      • Gail Combs says:

John Swinton, the former Chief of Staff of the the New York Times, NY Press Club, stated in 1953
“There is no such thing at this date of the world’s history, in America, as an independent press. You know it and I know it.

“There is not one of you that dares to write his honest opinions, and if you did, you know beforehand that it would never appear in print. I am paid weekly for keeping my opinions out of the paper I am connected with.

“Others of you are paid similar salaries for similar things, and any of you who would be so foolish as to write honest opinions would be out on the streets looking for another job.

“If I allowed my honest opinions to appear in one issue of my paper, before twenty-four hours my occupation would be gone. The business of journalists is to destroy truth; to pervert; to vilify; to fawn at the feet of mammon, and to sell his country and his race for his daily bread.

“You know it and I know it and what folly is this toasting an independent press? We are tools and vassals for rich men behind the scenes. We are the jumping jacks, they pull the strings and we dance. Our talents, our possibilities and our lives are all the property of other men. We are intellectual prostitutes.”

And we can see the truth of this in the treatment of David Seaman who was immediately fired by Huffington Post and his article scrubbed when he questioned Hillary Clinton’s health.
