This Week In 1936

A huge tornado outbreak during the first week of April, 1936 killed hundreds of people. Two weeks earlier almost the entire East Coast was flooded, and right before that was the coldest February on record in the US. The summer of 1936 went on to be the hottest on record.

April 2, 1936 was the coldest on record in the US, and was followed a few days later by one of the deadliest tornado outbreaks on record.
