On this date in 1938, it was 90 degrees just west of New York City.

  1. Andy DC says:

1963 was a very warm October, with 102 in Huron, SD early in the month. Also only month in DC history to have no measurable rain. The mild weather continue through November 1963, but by December 1963, the pattern flipped and most of the country had a very cold December.

At least back then, you could follow weather and its extremes without incessant blathering of politically driven “experts”, insisting that the world was ending, every time there was a weather event somewhere in the world.
