Global temperatures have fallen 0.7 degrees in the last two years, are lower than 1991 and are fairly typical for the past 28 years.

Arctic sea ice volume is highest in the last three years, is normal, and thick ice covers much more the Arctic than ten years ago.
You of course won’t hear any of this from the fake news press.
Tell me about it. This winter gives me memories from my childhood. Reminds me of the winter of 1968. We had to clear the driveway with a bulldozer. This is my driveway, just now.
No doubt the global temp is almost like in the 60 and 70s. Back then, i loved snow and cold weather, it was skating, skiing and sleigh riding, all winter, and winter didn’t end before may, some years. Looks like this winter could last that long.
I love this site, Tony, may you and the other readers here, have a great weekend.
Norway, beautiful country. A pity it has changed in a Big Brother state.
Not exactely. Not while I’m here. I know how to take ’em on. Still beautiful.

just two examples
In a state that knows every move you make freedom is a thing of the past. Soon to be implemented in every country. But maybe I’m the only one who has a problem with it.
In what area do you live, Steel?
Hey, Kris. I live in the south. Nearest town is Krisiansand. Can be quite snowy some years.
Prepare for flooding in the neighborhood.

All electricity consumers will receive smart meters by 1 January 2019.

I would think that climate change (AGW) is the best thing to eliminate CO2 from the atmosphere? Here is my logic. The warmer the climate – the more green the region. A region that is greener would mean more vegetation available to consume CO2. Its a perfect relationship!
The Arctic could be ice-free by 2016: https://www.telegraph.co.uk/science/2016/10/07/experts-said-arctic-sea-ice-would-melt-entirely-by-september-201/
Or not.
Question: Why hasn’t the Arctic melted yet? I mean, CO2. You know.
Natural ocean cycles can change global temperature by up to 1 C in a year. One hundred years of global warming is less than that. Concern over global warming experienced to date is unfounded.
The big gales on the northeast USA coast washed sea-clams above high water. How long before we get headlines about how tragic this is?

A huge flock of seagulls has arrived to gorge on this bounty. How long before we get the headlines about the tragedy of obese seagulls?
Seems like easy pickings. How do they taste?
Sea-clams very rubbery and not too good. Quohogs pretty good.
My son said having all those shellfish wash ashore was a terrible clamity. (Groan).
Not really abnormal, if it was more like this I think you’d get some headlines:

The press has forgotten all about being even slightly inquisitive, and has become only good for humor. The same is true for many government-funded scientists. Meanwhile fascinating things are overlooked. A mad poet is more scientific and objective than so-called scientists.

“Arctic sea ice volume is highest in the last three years, is normal”
Er, highest or as you then say normal. What are you actually saying here?
It actually looks quite low from the graph you quoted

Andy
Russian sea ice charts show a MASSIVE increase in “old ice” in 10 years.
As an aside where is Holocene man Andy? Gone on holiday?
As he is not here, on his behalf, I would like to say that this post means nothing as it was a lot different in the Holocene.
And on that bombshell I will depart.
Andy
Poor little-andy, STILL in a stage of climate change DENIAL
STILL denying that we are very much in a cool period of the last 10,000 years.
UNEDUCATEABLE is the only word that can describe non-entities like you, little-andy.
“bombshell?
the yapping of a mindless Chihuahua, you mean !
And yes it was a LOT different in the first 80% of the Holocene.
FAR less sea ice.
Then everything FROZE as we went through the COLDEST PERIOD in 10,000 years, were morons like little-andy what the temperature to stay (even though he lives somewhere warm and uses fossil fuel sourced heating in winter)
The world VERY FORTUNATE to be out of that COLDEST of periods,
…. and living through the Modern SLIGHTLY warm Period.
You also won’t hear about the Arctic being 2 deg C above normal at -28 deg C average…It’s beach volleyball season!!!
Tony,
A federal custodian of U.S. records who manipulates or falsifies them is liable to prosecution under Section 2071 of Title 18, the federal criminal statutes of the United States Code. Violation of Sec. 20o71 in this manner is a felony, subject to imprisonment for up to three years.
I have contacted the DOJ and Senators and congressmen/women who I thought would be concerned about this, but to no avail. Problem: I can offer only hearsay evidence, that is, what you have published I would gladly assemble whatever data you have accumulated to send not only to people in government but to likely media resources, such as the Daily Caller, Washington Times, the Daily Signal, and whatever a few minds working together can work up.
Thanks,
