The Robin is saying “why did I migrate here?*. Toto appears to be thinking. “Are you done yet Dad?*

Now remind me again how M@nn-Made Global Warming causes cold? Actually just point me to the peer-reviewed paper from 10-15 years ago that confidently predicted, due to M@nn-Made CO2, that we would have record-breaking cold in 2019. Settled science and all.

Incredible animals! Why anyone would consider ‘bird-brained’ a negative really doesn’t understand birds very well.

    phantastic photos!

The Arctic climate is leaving us today, but in all of my years in CO I have never seen such a persistence of snow in the shadows on Northern sides. It must be the global warming that is making it so cold.

Lately I read a LOT of articles that go by, talking about the punishing drought conditions on the Colorado River. No doubt that Lakes Powell and Mead are below historic levels. But I can’t find how this is caused by drought. Precip in the UC Basin has been consistent for 40 years, even increasing. 2018 was a terrible water year by all measures, low precip and poor to almost NO runoff.

Looking at this year so far, the Basin is at 108% of normal (expressed in SWE, Snow Water Equivalent) and virtually every area in the basin is at or above normal, very well balanced…including basins that feed Utah and the Rio Grande.

Yet The Colorado is at a Climate Tipping Point.

2016, 2017, and 2019 (so far) have been at or above normal, 17 WAY above. Only 2018 was a poor water year.

They have diverted and overused water which will destroy the Colorado River if it continues. So now these states have an easy scapegoat…climate change.

Watch in Congress for a bailout of money we owe them because we caused all this with Cow Farts.

Ah hell Psalmon, once the rapids of the Colorado in the Grand Canyon were notorious. Now they have to open the dams to flush the Grand Canyon like a toilet every once in awhile when the trickle they allow through deposits too much silt and debris.

I actually did a 7 day raft trip many years ago from Lee’s Ferry to just below Lava Falls. It was amazing. One of the most beautiful places on Earth.
