You can hit them in the face with snowballs all day long and they still think it’s hot. It’s a mental disease. Nothing to do with science.

These actions have a long history of success.

In 1985, our City Council adopted an ordinance declaring Boulder a “nuclear-free zone”. This strategic posture had an immediate positive effect. The world’s rogue nuclear powers and non-state actors were forced to choose alternative targets in Colorado’s Front Range. Since the signing there has not been a single instance of an attack by nuclear weapons on the City of Boulder.

Can’t argue with success. I only wish they could figure out how to plow the streets.

      • Colorado Wellington says:

I know, I know, but first things first. What good would be plowed streets if every couple of days a nuke was exploding at Canyon and Broadway or Arapahoe and 28th? These intersections are a pain in the neck even without nukes. And Boulderites would start plastering “BETTER RED THAN DEAD” over their “FREE TIBET” bumper stickers.

I don’t even want to think about it.

        • R Shearer says:

It would be a lot easier to find a “free” parking spot though, but I guess it won’t matter in 12 years.

“What good would be plowed streets if every couple of days a nuke was exploding at Canyon and Broadway or Arapahoe and 28th?”

Nukes are extraordinarily high performance snow plows.

Another variant of the Gore effect.

  4. Mike Lutterloch says:

Having recently become aware of your campaign through YouTube I have been surprised recently at the hostility of the BBC to any suggestion that there is any doubt that the ‘science is settled’ on anthropogenic global warming.
Now we have schoolchildren going on strike in UK to influence politicians to effect change it seems that indoctrination is working.
Most adults I speak to have an open mind but I am concerned that trust between generations is being undermined and children won’t wait for proof that there is nothing alarming happening

Record lows from the 40s and 60s being tied up and down the CA central valley…

Another 2-4 feet of snow for Sierra Nevada…

…and Northern CA will be soon underwater.

It’s climate change I tell you!!! Just like the wildfires that will come in the summer due to the spurt of growth of annuals that will result from all of that water and then die and dry out and provide fantastic tender for wildfires to start.
