Colorado Democrats Erase The State’s Voters

New Colorado law will give state’s electoral college votes to national popular vote winner – CNNPolitics

Colorado Democrats have passed a law which makes Colorado voters nearly irrelevant.  Under their new law, a candidate could receive no votes in Colorado, and still receive the state’s electoral votes. Or conversely, a candidate could receive every single vote in the state, and not win the state’s electoral votes. The entire intent of the bill is to ignore the will of Colorado voters. Colorado Democrats describe this plan as “a move towards democracy.”

Combined with their open borders policies, Democrats want people with no roots in the US, or loyalty to the US – to choose the Commander in Chief of the US military.

The democrats know they can’t win in the current electoral college system with their policy stances, so they want to change the system.

Rah, it’s worse than that. They are so incredibly stupid that they believe this somehow gives them more political power. How they can think this is beyond me. They just made themselves completely irrelevant for Presidential elections. Colorado is now one of about 10 States or so to do this. By doing so, they have made it virtually impossible for a Democrat to win the Presidency in 2020. It is virtually impossible for Trump not to win the national popular vote in 2020.

I have recently thought, “I wonder if Trump can beat Reagan’s record 525 Electoral votes (49 States in 1984)” .. Up until now my answer has been “nah, that would be nearly impossible” .. but now, the Dumbocreep morons are actually helping to make it a possibility, and I am laughing my rear end off!

Besides being the party of pure evil, Democrats are the party of incredible stupidity. No matter, their party is on a very fast track to destruction. There will basically be no Democrat party in 2024. They are duplicating the Labour party of the UK to perfection. They will soon realize the same fate. Such incredible stupidity.

      • Steven Parker says:

Democrats continue to ignore the law of unintended consequences. What this very well may do is energize conservative voters in formerly “lost cause” states such as California and New York. If enough of them vote instad of staying home, it could easily tip the popular vote towards the Republican. I’m not sure I would be able to constrain my laughter if that happened.

        • billtoo says:

all the more so because these “lost cause” conservative voters live in the highly concentrated areas of the country. they are much easier to reach with mass advertising at a lower total cost per vote.

      • Tom Bakert says:

“Besides being the party of pure evil, Democrats are the party of incredible stupidity.”

Well, I think the “pure evil” characterization is hyperbole, but I wholeheartedly agree with “incredible stupidity”.

      • RW says:

What exactly is the basis for confidence in trump winning the popular vote? He lost the popular vote to Hillary in ’16 and there’s no way she brought out the full Democratic base.

      • Independent_George says:

I think you underestimate the stupidity and willful ignorance of half the population.

    • arn says:

      they favour a fascist system.
At least they are now admitting it.
As the cattle may vote the wrong way they look for ways to correct “wrongvote”

    • GW Smith says:

The leftist mentality believes that people are too selfish and ignorant if left on their own, and so a world dictator is needed to “guide” us, and save the planet. Didn’t Hitler try that? And Stalin? And Mao? They did a great job.

  2. Squidly says:

I just laugh at these States doing these stupid things. I am amazed that the populace within those States doesn’t revolt and uprise. There is no reason for a Colorado voter to cast a ballot in Presidential elections anymore. Their vote will mean nothing.

So many stupid people in this country believe we are a “Democracy” and have absolutely no clue what a “Representative Republic” is and why we, as a nation, are constructed this way.

I cannot wait to see what is going to happen when Trump wins the national popular vote in 2020 and these States will have to cast their Electoral ballots for Trump, despite their own State popular vote probably being for a Democrat.

I am going to be laughing so hard ..

  3. feathers says:

Liberals have ruined several Western States. If California exports just 50,000 crazies to AZ, NM, CO, and MT its enough to swing the vote. These states need to invoke a “California Mobility Tax”, charging Californias a hefty sum for moving into their states. They want to flee the tax burden but import their madness!

The exodus from Oregon and Washington is also hurting nearby States in the MT time zone.

    • Mark Luhman says:

“California Mobility Tax” a wonderful idea, unfortunately it is unconstitutional. I still cannot understand someone who flees a state because the stupid rules they voted for in the past will vote for them all over again.

  4. Nicholas McGinley says:

Seems like it must be some sort of bizarre joke.
    Like everything Democrats do.

  5. nfw says:

Yep, they obviously want busloads of illegals bussed in.

  6. Joel says:

A Representative Republic was created to prevent “the tyranny of the majority”. It was Jefferson himself who said – not a direct quote – that “democracy was nothing more than a mob, where 51% of the people took away the rights of the other 49%.”

James Madison – who Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez probably believes is the husband of the woman that invented Zingers – wrote an entire Federalist (No. 10) dissecting the need for a republic rather than a pure democracy.

Of course, nobody bothers to read what really smart people wrote. Instead, we let morons in our country’s statehouses change laws because their lady didn’t win in 2016.

So many incredibly short-sighted, stupid people. It’s tragic.

    • Robertv. says:

Schools not teaching these subjects are in my opinion guilty of treason. It’s the fundament the US is based on.

  7. MGJ says:

If I understand this correctly then I cannot see a situation arising whereby a Colorado vote for a Democrat is ever overridden by the ‘popular’ vote for a Republican.

In plain English doesn’t it just mean ‘we’ll nominate Democrats no matter what’?
