It really does now look like President Donald J. Trump, and markets are plunging…… If the question is when markets will recover, a first-pass answer is never.

So Krugman keeps up his near perfect record. Is it near perfect really? Has he ever been right about anything? Perhaps it is a perfect record.

  2. R Shearer says:

Krudman had also said the internet would have no more impact on the economy than the fax machine had. He’s a Democrat, therefore pretty much wrong about most things.

  3. R Shearer says:

With snow coming to Colorado this weekend, there is a chance that the Denver/Boulder area could make it to July without reaching 90F. I wonder if this has happened in the last 100 years. It certainly is inconsistent with warming.

The forecast had called for 86F in my town today. It reached 80F. Yesterday the mountain forecast called for snow on Sunday. Now it is saying Saturday and Sunday.

  4. Krugman, Al Gore, and Obama all won Nobel prizes. What does that tell you?

  5. KevinPaul says:

He is an asset of the NWO obvious by his disarmament propaganda, the way he talks down the Mayor is cringe worthy.

The mosque shootings here in NZ have resulted in the prohibition of many gun types, it’s almost as if the guy who did it was brainwashed into committing the act with the sole purpose of turning public opinion towards passive disarmament, leaving people impotent with respect to opposing the coming subversions of freedom.

One thing that it will undoubtedly achieve is funneling arms onto the black market, with many owners now insisting they will just mothball and bury theirs rather than hand them in.

The Second Amendment was put there by some visionary people to ensure freedom of the people of America from tyrannical government, we are not so fortunate, but then our swamp is not so dark and murky like most.

  6. John F. Hultquist says:

Paul Krugman seems to have become famous for adding buzz words to “economic geography” — such as the word “new” and the digit “1”.
    New Economic Geography 1 (NEG1)

American Geographical Society (AGS) was founded in 1851 and its “fellows” should be better known to Americans than this Krugman character.
The AGS has been informative and useful.

  7. RW says:

Krugman is a proven ass clown. Who cares what that fool has to say.

    • Robertv says:

Krugman is a clown but the economy is as sick as under Obama and is only kept afloat by Central Bank manipulation. They are just digging the hole deeper.

It will fall just before the next elections so people will vote a socialist like Bernie Sanders into power

      • RW says:

Schiff is always predicting doom and gloom. He was claiming the sky was going to fall for a decade, then became meteorically famous overnight when it finally did in ’08. People who had no idea who he was or how wrong his predictions had been for years now suddenly viewed him as an economic prophet.

    Aug. 15, 2011:

“World War II is the great natural experiment in the effects of large increases in government spending, and as such has always served as an important positive example for those of us who favor an activist approach to a depressed economy.”

    • rah says:

Krugman the moron doesn’t even know that the US was still in a cycle of depression when WW II started 8 years after FDR was elected. It was the switch to the WW II economy that pulled the US out of the cycles of slight upturns followed by collapse of the great depression and not “The New Deal”.

The left can only provide arguments to support their past based on fake revised history, just as now they can only justify their current positions and hate for Trump with fake news.

      Depression era unemployment:

      • MGJ says:

Krugman – as you say, the moron – takes both the Broken Window Fallacy and the Cargo Cult to infinity:

‘If we can just destroy EVERYTHING then wahay! we’ll all be rich!’

‘Prosperity comes not from graft, ingenuity and creativity but just kinda…happens!…when our government is “Progressive” enough!’

  9. Dave O. says:

Paul Ehrlich and Paul Krugman. How to get rich by being wrong all the time.
