Climate scientists have just discovered that ice doesn’t melt at -30C, but somehow will still cause sea level to rise as it doesn’t melt.
This is a brilliant physics discovery by the stupidest profession which ever existed, but they are still having some math difficulties. Last month they said that Antarctica is gaining ice and reducing sea level.

They also seem to be having some rather serious modeling problems, as their models missed the minor detail that Antarctica has cooled as CO2 increased almost 25% since 1979.

Even fraudster in chief Gavin Schmidt knows that Antarctica is cooling.
Antarctic sea ice has steadily increased since 1979, as a result of the cooling temperatures.
Every legitimate indication is that Antarctica is cooling, gaining ice and reducing sea level. The 2007 IPCC report projected that Antarctic ice gain would reduce sea level during the 21st century.
Fraudsters like James Hansen who predict large amounts of sea level rise are not basing it on any science. But their claims are an essential part of the biggest scam in history,
Tony today’s posting is going to seriously upset little Martin. How dare u show data that contradicts his obsessive-compulsive alarmist view of the world 😉
It will upset him even more that he didn’t get to post first on the thread.
Yes, He must have had nightmares last night and thus missed getting into work in time, the naughty little troll.

The Secretary of State and the New Yorker magazine blame climate change for violence:

Instead of admitting the United States created terrorist groups in Syria in an unsuccessful attempt to overthrow the Syrian government, we are told that
The connection between warming temperatures and the cycle of Syrian violence is, by now, uncontroversial. As Secretary of State John Kerry said in Virginia, this month, “It’s not a coincidence that, immediately prior to the civil war in Syria, the country experienced its worst drought on record.

This is not the sort of alarmism we’ve been accustomed to. Gain 112 gigatons, lose 82 gigatons. Back in my day, Al Gore said all the ice in Antarctica would melt. That’s 22 million gigatons. 82 is pocket change compared to 22 million. Where is Al Gore when you need him?
Oh, he’s sitting on the deck at his oceanside mansion in Santa Barbara, sipping icewater and still trying to figure out the melting ice cube thing.
Steven Goddard: “Last month they said that Antarctica is gaining ice and reducing sea level.”
They didn’t say that.
[SG: Martin caught lying, yet again
“They didn’t say that.”
PROVE IT!
“A new NASA study says that an increase in Antarctic snow accumulation that began 10,000 years ago is currently adding enough ice to the continent to outweigh the increased losses from its thinning glaciers.”
Unless you are prepared to say that new water is being produced somewhere then I fail to see how taking water from a closed system and depositing it on a continent can do anything other than reduce the level of water in the closed system.
Please explain yourself
I think Martin in referring to the fact that in the study they claimed sea levels were still rising though the Antarctic was actually taking away from the rise.
Here “The good news is that Antarctica is not currently contributing to sea level rise, but is taking 0.23 millimeters per year away,” Zwally said. “But this is also bad news. If the 0.27 millimeters per year of sea level rise attributed to Antarctica in the IPCC report is not really coming from Antarctica, there must be some other contribution to sea level rise that is not accounted for.”
So they make sure they don’t counter the meme that the seas are rising still but cannot account for where that rise is coming from. Now ain’t that just scientific of them? Where’s our imaginary extra water coming from since we can’t blame it on either pole?
It must be the by-product of burning fossil fuels.
Before anyone starts, yes I know it really is a by product,
Poor Martin, even though Antarctic sea ice has increased for 30 years, even though the atmosphere above Antarctica has cooled for thirty years, even though southern oceans have cooled for thirty years, even though the surface record, before smearing the one little warming area, showed overall cooling and even though the warmest overall summer T is well below freezing, he is convinced of catastrophic SL rise, because big Al told him so.
The Antarctic ice cap loss is just one of many lies from the Global Warming crowd.
#1 CO2 is a pollutant
Oh, thank you for posting the IPCC’s Table 10.7 from their AR4 report.
“If the current pace of the buildup of these gases continues, the effect is likely to be a warming of 3 to 9 degrees Fahrenheit from the year 2025 to 2050, according to these projections. This rise in temperature is not expected to be uniform around the globe but to be greater in the higher latitudes, reaching as much as 20 degrees, and lower at the Equator.” Hansen 1988
Just been watching Lamar and the Committee on Science, Space and Technology. There were three great witnesses and one lady named “Ms Dyke” who seemed to know nothing except that “great things are happening in my state”. It’s now official: the most stupid policy ever conceived with probably a 100:1 cost to benefit ratio and massive massive costs.
Please keep us posted. (I do not get audio on the computer or have a TV)
Well darn! My toaster just burned 4 pieces of 15 grain bread I was preparing for breakfast despite having set the timer the same place I always do when toasting this kind of bread. Must be global warming. Never mind that the toaster is getting old and is in a heated house and it’s 16 deg. F outside which is considerably lower than the average for this day. I have, using my own secret data and methods, determined that the cause has to be Global Warming and I need to go buy a new toaster calibrated to the new climatic conditions in my house.
Our toaster was built just after WWII, it is older than I am and still works fine.
It is a sunbeam T-20 and is still available on e-bay.

My grandmother had one of those.
Well they just don’t make em like they used to. Our four slice toaster is probably about 18-19 years old.
I just replaced the coffee maker this summer. It had lasted 14 years and I thought that was excellent based on past experience so I bought the same model again. It was the last one left of that model I could find. . Of course we use it a lot but use bottled water in it instead of the well water and those factors have a lot to do with the life of those things. We’ll make a pot every day we’re home and every time I get called out I make another pot to fill my thermos.
So I say “they just don’t make em like they used to” and you come up with the exception to that rule! LOL! We need a four slicer.
Seriously look into some vintage type Sunbeams. They may have the 4 slice model too.

(That is our toaster)
We also have a working GE table fan from the same era and an even older chandelier. That sucker was converted from gas to electric from the looks of it. I remember stripping 29 coats of paint off it in 1959! (It has never been rewired.) Much of my stuff, tables chairs… are that era or older. I have never bought ‘new’ because it is such cheap crap.
