Houston, We Have A Problem

It is becoming increasingly clear that the president of the United States is psychotic.

President Barack Obama told his enthusiastic supporters Monday night that he never promised what video recordings show him promising at least 29 times.

The videos show Obama promising 300 million Americans that “if you like your health-care plan, you will be able to keep your health-care plan, period.”

But that’s not what he really said, Obama announced Monday in a speech to about 200 Organizing for Action supporters, gathered at the St. Regis hotel in D.C.

What we said was you could keep it if it hasn’t changed since the law was passed,” he told Obamacare’s political beneficiaries and contractors.

  1. As I have thought–and said here–before, it can only end with him hiding in a hole in the ground (from villagers with pitchforks and torches). Metaphorically speaking, of course (but this picture doesn’t really tell us if he is Frankenstein’s monster, or Dracula). For scary, you should show a picture of Tor Johnson as a zombie in “Plan Nine From Outer Space” (my long-time favorite, scariest movie, from when I was a small, easily frightened child). For the best monster images, I recommend the former, great “Famous Monsters of Filmland” magazine of Forest J. Ackerman (I hope I am remembering all these fondly-remembered names correctly). If only Obama were no more real than they.

Obama is fine, he knows exactly what he is doing.

The psychotic ones are those who choose to believe him, chose the warm comfy fur of POTUS Pied Piper, who allow fatal levels of cognitive dissonance to rule their lives rather than living in the real world.

The end game is Galt time.

“A few days after the bloody executions, the animals discover that the commandment reading “No animal shall kill any other animal” now reads: “No animal shall kill any other animal without cause.” As with the previous revisions of commandments, the animals blame the apparent change on their faulty memories—they must have forgotten the final two words. The animals work even harder throughout the year to rebuild the windmill. Though they often suffer from hunger and the cold, Squealer reads continuously from a list of statistics proving that conditions remain far superior to anything the animals knew under Mr. Jones and that they only continue to improve.”

Did you see his speech yesterday, he was reading exactly what was printed of what he should say.

  5. jst1 says:

He gets to lie about his lie. He will never have to account for it.
This does, however, give any political opponent the right to say without malice that Democrats are liars. This card can be played for at least a decade if politicians have to guts to play it.

    He “misspoke” – NY Crimes.

  7. Chuckster says:

Fred, yes, Obama is just fine. Just fine for a compulsive liar. His progressive Marxist training, no doubt. But, your second paragraph is right on. A bunch of wobbly psychos.

  8. Stewart Pid says:

Come on now folks … who are you going to believe? Your President or your lying ears?
    SARC

    • Ernest Bush says:

Chillingly, your comment does not require a SARC. They really do expect us to believe our ears lied. Given the chance, the government will send us all to re-education camps where we will stay until we believe our own ears are lying to us and that Dear Leader can never lie. There is nothing we can say, no matter how outrageous or sarcastic, that is not being spoken or printed by the left as if it were the absolute truth.

  9. Okie says:

“If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State.”

A good comment from James Gawron at ricochet:

I will repeat this as many times as necessary.

Over 100 million Americans will lose their Health Insurance and be forced to pay 50 to 100% more. They will be severely restricted in their choice of Doctor or Hospital. Their care will be rationed for sure. The Administration knew this from their own 2010 internal study published in the Federal Register. This is the source of the facts that are quoted.

This huge pool of Americans are being herded into a Web Site that does not work. If they should get through, there is a high likelihood that their most sensitive personal data will be compromised.

This is not a transfer payment scheme. A simple tax could have been passed that subsidized the poor’s Health Insurance. It would have been fabulously less expensive and would not have resulted in the total disruption of Health Care in America.

Napoleon took Moscow. He couldn’t hold it long. Our job is to harry his retreat with everything we can throw at him until he is no longer a threat to anyone.

    • Ernest Bush says:

So many truths are spoken here. Except there is already a program and laws in place that help the poor. It is called Medicaid. In Arizona any person who shows up at an emergency room will be checked to make sure they do not have a life-threatening problem. If they have such a problem they will be admitted and receive treatment whether they are insured or not. If it is not life threatening they will be referred to a clinic next to the emergency room where they will see a doctor. If they have qualified for that state’s medicaid program they will be treated at the expense of the state. Medicaid is funded through Medicare. You are already being taxed for it. Medicaid recipients get better medical care than most people on the low end of the middle class.

  11. Gamecock says:

The story is now about which sycophants try to cover for him. Obama has jumped the shark, and the legacy press is driving the boat.

  12. The Iconoclast says:

“Simplification and ease of explanation were a premium, and that was true throughout the process,” Jon Favreau, who was Obama’s senior speech writer, told the journal’s writers.

Translation: We knew we needed to lie, so we did.

“We got [Obamacare] done. Now, let’s face it, a lot of us didn’t realize that passing the law was the easy part.”

    Translation: We are incompetent.

  13. gofer says:

Notice it’s no longer, “I said”, but WE said, setting the stage to blame somebody else. He could have come clean and just admitted it but now he’s piling on and making it worse.

As reported this morning, a Duke Economist, says over 129 million will lose their insurance.

    • Ernest Bush says:

When does a pathological liar ever admit that he has lied. He/she will simply tell bigger lies to draw your attention away from the last lies he told. Look at the level of craziness being put out there right now from Warmists, as their last lies are exposed.

  14. @NJSnowFan says:

Impeachable offenses Steve?? Lies with obamacare and Global warming.

I guess he will say the Republicans made him lie to win his second term election.

  15. emmaliza says:

The intro to the latest edition of “Last Exit to Utopia” repeats a Pravda interview with Hugo Chavez in 2009 in which the Communist ex-dictator declared that Obama was further left than he…..
