NOAA and NASA claim that 2012 was “by far” the hottest year ever in the US, based on massively tampered data. But a look at the raw data shows that 2012 was not a very hot year in the US. Springtime temperatures were very pleasant and far above normal in 2012, but summer temperatures were not exceptional
Based on the number of record maximum daily temperatures from June-August, the ten hottest summers are shown below. All ten occurred with CO2 below 350 PPM, and the only one since 1954 was 1988 – the summer when Hansen sabotaged the air conditioner and told Congress that we were all going to burn up from future global warming
