Accuweather claims that the forecast Southwest heatwave is historic, which is the usual alarmist BS. I attended ASU during the peak ice age scare year of 1974, when Phoenix had 18 consecutive days over 110F – during a heatwave which began on June 11, 1974.

In 1974, the CIA believed global cooling would kill us all.

Phoenix hit 122F in 1995, and the hottest temperature ever recorded on Earth (134F) occurred in California in 1913. There is nothing historic about the upcoming heatwave. Climate is not weather, unless it is hot for a few days.

Science Magazine claims that Greenland set melt records in 2015.

Melting is determined by the surface mass budget, which is measured as snow/ice accumulation minus melt. During the 2015 melt season, the surface of Greenland gained 200 billion tons of ice – just below normal.

Ice melt was well below normal on most days of the 2015 melt season.

So far this year, Greenland has gained 550 billion tons of ice, slightly above normal.

At midsummer, it is -16C in the center of the ice sheet, where temperatures have not risen above freezing in four years.

There is not one smidgen of truth to Science magazine’s claims. Climate scientists and respectable science publications lie about the climate as their standard operating procedure.

On June 11, Bremen University showed Arctic sea ice extent right where it was on that date for the last few years. Four days later, their graph went backwards in time to early June. Climate science at work.

DMI is showing a sharp downtick in Arctic sea ice over the past few days.

Thirty years ago, James Hansen made some spectacularly poor global warming predictions before Congress.

Hansen predicted two degrees global warming by 2006.

He was off by a factor of ten. Earth warmed about 0.2 degrees from June 1986 to June 2006.

Hansen predicted 3 or 4 degrees of US warming between 2010 and 2020

The US has seen little or no warming since 1986.

Hansen predicted a huge increase in the number of hot days at Omaha, Nebraska and Washington, DC.

The exact opposite has occurred. Both places have seen a decline in the number of hot days.

Climate scientists have no idea what they are talking about, and their CO2 superstition is not based on science.
