Hansen use to constantly lecture us that disappearing sea ice was going to amplify global warming and destroy the planet. Only problem is that polar sea ice area has been above normal for nearly 18 months.
NOAA says that April was the hottest on record globally, but somehow the heat forgot to melt the ice.

Republicans are finally starting to wake up to the fact that the “science of climate change” is the biggest fraud in history, being financed by massive amounts of government dollars.
Commuting on Maryland freeways I normally put the car on cruise control right at the speed limit, and stay about 150 yards behind the car in front of me. There is no point speeding because you will get pulled over and you will hit a traffic jam further up the road.
What I find is that many cars pass me, and then pull their Prius (or other small piece of crap car) back into my lane only 10-15 feet in front of my SUV. The only reason I can think of to do this, is a death wish. Does anyone believe that a car going 60 MPH can stop in 10 feet?
The FILNET adjustment is much worse than it seems.
USHCN is losing station data a phenomenal rate since 1990, and they are filling in the missing data with temperatures higher than the station data which is not missing. The rationale for this would have to be that the missing station data was from stations which were warmer than average.
I put that to the test by comparing 1943-1989 data for stations which have missing 1990-2013 data, versus those with complete 1990-2013 station data. It turns out that the stations losing data are actually colder than the ones with complete records. So the FILNET adjustment is creating warming, when it should be creating cooling.
The big question is – is NOAA intentionally dropping colder station data, so that they can fill in fake warm data?

Experts say that the only change in energy balance they can detect in recent years is an undetectable increase in deep ocean temperatures.
So we can presume that Barack Obama believes his fake scientists, and was discussing climate change at the bottom of the sea.
I generated a list of all stations with no fabricated data from 1990 to 2013, and generated raw and final average temperatures for those stations. I also calculated the average of all fabricated temperatures at all stations from 1990 to 2013, which comprise more than 40% of the recent USHCN data set.
As you can see below, the slope of the complete final (orange) is slightly larger than the complete raw (blue), due to TOBS adjustments, but the fabricated data is completely out of line after 1998, about 0.8 degrees warmer.
You may recall that I have previously observed a discontinuity after 1998. This is a big part of it.
2012 was the last holy year for alarmists, with record winter warmth in the US and record low summer Arctic ice extent. Arctic ice extent is currently less than it was on the same date in 2012, and will probably remain that way for a few more hours.

What will the climate be like in 2030? If current trends continue, the climate will be just like it is now.
