Listen To The Nurses
I spent a few weeks in Nebraska during March living in the home of an ICU nurse. While I was there I met a number of other nurses, who told me they believed COVID-19 came through during December and January, when a large number of people came down with symptoms consistent with COVID-19, but failed all known virus screens.
And now this story out of New York – they had COVID is December and January.
“We were beginning to hear about these cases in December and January,” said Dr. Adam J. Singer of Stony Brook University Hospital.
That community in Nebraska has not been hit hard since then, indicating they may have obtained herd immunity early.

A Century Of Progress
In 1920, the government banned alcohol. In 2020, the government banned almost everything except alcohol.

Hawaii – 40% Unemployment
Hawaii is run by left-wing Democrats, and was one of the first states to shut down their economy. They now have 250,000 new unemployment claims.
Hawaii only has about 650,000 people in their workforce, so they are probably above 40% unemployment.
What’s up with Hawaii’s incredible shrinking civilian labor force?
Hawaii has a COVID death rate of ten per million, which is about the same as Wyoming – which never shut down. Hawaii’s economy is almost completely dependent on tourism, which is a dead industry thanks to worthless computer models created by the United Nations, and mindless panic by politicians in the US.
In a matter of six weeks liberal Democrat’s turned paradise into the exact opposite. The odds of Hawaiians dying from COVID are 1:10,000. Hawaiians are about fifty times more likely to die from flu or in a car accident.

Alarmists Continue Their Desperate Lies
Brazil has been target of leftists, because their conservative president has refused to give in to COVID alarmism. The UK Daily Mail now claims that Brazil is a “coronavirus hotspot”
In the real world, Brazil is doing about ten times better than the UK, and starting to curve downwards just like everybody else. The last thing leftists want people to understand is that draconian government actions accomplish nothing (other than to destroy wealth and freedom.)
Daily confirmed COVID-19 deaths per million: are we bending the curve?

Nurse Expose Of NYC Hospitals
I was staying with an ICU nurse in Nebraska, and got to know a number of other nurses. I was told lots of horror stories about incompetence by hospital administrators and CDC.
New York City has about 3% of the US population, but more than 50% of COVID deaths. This nurse explains what is going on in New York City hospitals to produce such a disproportionate number of deaths.

The Swedish Strategy
Excellent read on a sensible approach in Sweden, vs. the rest of Europe
The Swedish laws on communicable diseases are mostly based on voluntary measures — on individual responsibility. It clearly states that the citizen has the responsibility not to spread a disease. This is the core we started from, because there is not much legal possibility to close down cities in Sweden using the present laws. Quarantine can be contemplated for people or small areas, such as a school or a hotel. But [legally] we cannot lock down a geographical area.
Sweden is getting the same result as most of the rest of Europe, only they are doing it without destroying their economy and civil liberties. They also may have obtained herd immunity, preventing another outbreak next winter.
