Thirty years ago, a Florida State University professor showed that small increases in temperature caused sea level to fall, due to increased evaporation from the ocean.

This picture of Boca Raton was in that issue of the paper.
Along with this typical alarmist tripe.
And this is what that beach looks like today. Nothing has changed.
There’s a good reason why globalarmists would hate for that to be true: Warming climate (for any reason) = increased ocean evaporation = increased water vapor/clouds = increased cooling feedback = stable climate, stable sea levels.
They do try to get away with claiming that increased water vapor is a positive feedback.
Water as a positive RUNAWAY feedback leading to thermageddon.
In a post claiming that there has been no change in Boca Raton’s beach line, doesn’t it seem a bit disingenuous to omit the fact that city of Boca Raton has been hauling in lots of sand to maintain the beach?
Beach erosion has nothing to do with sea level rise. Brains required.
SG is sure right on that one. !!
Beaches ebb and flow with the wave patterns.
The only reason to bring in sand is to maintain the amenity for users or for aesthetic reasons.
Down here at my favourite beach, the late winter storms exposed some rocks I have never seen before in 20 or more years. Now the beach covers those rocks and extends 50m out further than it did just 3 months ago.

Bringing in sand to preserve the beach also saves the bluffs which offer some protection when storms with shoreward winds come calling. So it does have a practical purpose for the beach front property owners beyond having a place to sun and frolic.
As I said.. aesthetics 😉
OK, I’m glad that’s cleared up. The sand that the city of Boca Raton has been hauling in to maintain their beach line has nothing to do with the maintained beach line you present as photographic evidence that there is no change in their beach line. I really should have thought that comment through before I posted it. I can only hope that you contact the city of Boca Raton and let them know that their beach line hasn’t changed. They will probably feel like complete idiots to have wasted all of that money maintaining their beach line when all they got out of it was a maintained beach line.
What difference does it all make? The important thing is to get you out of your SUV and preferably dead.
The God Particle, CO2, knows and does all.
How dare those evil humans enjoy themselves on the beach in 1987! Instead, they should have been obsessing about the non-existent sea level rise that climate scientists had warned them about back then and still are warning them about as we speak.
I love “Spot the difference” picture comparisons. #1 the building grew. too easy.
That’s not all. The petite brunette sitting on the beach in the middle got married, had a child, gained 37 pounds, got divorced and is now a property manager in that building.
