For the second straight year the Northern Hemisphere is experiencing unseasonably cold winters. Deaths are being blamed on the bitter subfreezing temperatures, and meanwhile, scientists are attempting to explain why the freeze is occurring. Climate scientists are suggesting that the cold winters, characterized by the influx of freezing Arctic air, are paradoxically related to global warming. How is this possible?
As the trend of warmer Arctic winters and melting ice masses continue in the north, larger portions of land and sea areas surrounding the Arctic are without snow and ice cover for longer periods of time. While the white snow and ice reflected the sunlight, bouncing the warming rays back into outer space, the blue sea absorbs the Sun’s rays. This causes more heat to be trapped in the Arctic area and increases the rate of global warming. The warmer Arctic air rises into the cold polar atmosphere causing the formation of a high pressure front, which causes the Arctic air to circulate. This circulation is responsible for pushing Arctic air down into the Northern Hemisphere during the winter months.

One day in the near future both polar regions will experience three fourths of the year with 24 hours of sunlight each day if we do not reduce the amount of CO2 we emit by breathing! and what ever else we do to put that evil gas in the atmosphere!

Of course, these geniuses were clueless about the current cold weather two years ago when they predicted ever faster warming (the hockey stick). If they can be so completely wrong about that, why should anyone believe them now?
I’m no climatologist but, “warm” arctic air still sounds like it would be pretty cold.
I like the last paragraph. It sounds as if the science is on a par with Hansen’s.

I did not follow the link because what was revealed here was enough evidence of the validity of the claims. However I am am all for those who want people to live in “Harmony” with Nature to do just that as by their living in Harmony they remove them selves form the rest of society and shorten their life expectancy to less than 40 years. There is no Harmony in Nature unless you see Harmony is Chaos.

In the 60’s and early 70’s we had a meteorologist in Nova Scotia called Rub Hornstein. He had a black board and a piece of chalk. What Rub predicted is what we got. Bet he could have out predicted and out explained all the `climate experts’. He is probably rolling in his box.
