To get away with this they will need to get rid of all historical data and also replace all temp gauges with a “new improved official technology” that will show “hotter” temperatures. Look for mercury to be banned worldwide like DDT and CFC’s.
If the actual temperatures were accelerating as fast as the adjustments, there would be cause for concern. Now the only concern is the blatant, massive disinformation campaign and raiding of the Treasury.

Seriously, it is common knowledge that many a dishonest businessman has stolen money from his company accounts, and then cooked the books as long as possible to keep his thievery secret. The last act, often performed just as it becomes impossible to keep the theft secret any longer is to burn down the building where his company is.
