Global cooling became the standard eco scare of the day, it was in my college ecology textbook in the late 1980’s.
In my youth, my family would drive from Michigan to Florida every Spring for vacation, coinciding with what we call Easter break back then. We took I-75, which dissects the Eastern edge of the tornado belt. I recall that we almost always saw the aftermath of some tornado but in 1974 we saw damage in many places, particularly in Ohio and Kentucky. My dad liked to tour the aftermath of such storms.
It’s good for the alarmists to hype every storm, it just makes the public sicker and sicker of hearing their shit. 2 or 3 more typhoons and AGW will be like Milli Vanilli, disco balls, 8 track players, and telephones that connect to wires.
