  1. Andy Oz says:

Australia’s Pool and Spa industry see’s a silver lining on the CAGW cloud.
At least they are authentic. The Australian BOM announcements are now political.

Steve, this is off topic. A comparison between Debbie Wasserman Schultz and Sara Palin might be in order. Interesting pictures.

Debbie recently pointed out in ‘off-the-cuff’ remarks during a TV interview, that the word ‘misled’ is pronounced ‘myzled’. That woman’s a genius, I tell ya. 🙂

  3. chris y says:

This echoes comments made by super-genius Paul Ehrlich in congressional testimony in 1974, page 269-
“When meteorologists talk about normal weather, by convention internationally they’re talking about the average weather period 1930 to 1960. It turns out that was the most extreme period of good weather in the last 1000 years. We are now clearly coming down off of that peak.”

From the 1974 Senate testimony of Paul Ehrlich and John Holdren in hearings on the “Domestic Supply Information Act” held by the Committee on Commerce and Committee on Government Operations (Serial No. 93-107).

  4. The Iconoclast says:

Man-made global cooling is the new man-made global warming. The analogy to 1984 is painfully obvious, but it worked once already so why not try it again.

Lesson learned for the alarmist crowd: Don’t make predictions; just point to whatever happens and say it’s proof of what you said was going to happen.

  5. Bob Knows says:

Global warming is still a good thing. Humans have always thrived during warm times and suffered or died during cold times. An human with half a brain knows that warm is better than cold.
