Life Down The Rabbit Hole

Tornadoes and hurricanes are at a record low, while politicians and scientists tell us they are spiraling out of control.

There has been no warming for 17 years, while politicians and scientists tell us that warming is accelerating faster than they expected.

Sea level is scarcely rising, while politicians and scientists tell us that it is rising out of control.

Same story for fires, drought, etc. We truly live in a global insane asylum.

When the President lies with such ease, what can one expect, since he’s kind of the template for others to emulate. They see no problem with this, since the end always justifies the means.

“If someone claims to predict what a stock will do in the coming days, we know that that person is either a crook or a charlatan. If an environmentalist makes similar claims about the environment, or an ecosystem, we have not yet learned to see him as a false prophet or a fool.”
    —Michael Crichton, Micro, 2008

Because government experts are never wrong, are they?

That is the biggest fool thing we have ever done. The bomb will never go off, and I speak as an expert in explosives.
    – Admiral William Leahy. [Advice to President Truman, when asked his opinion of the atomic bomb project.]

There is little doubt that the most significant event affecting energy is the advent of nuclear power…a few decades hence, energy may be free—just like the unmetered air….
    – John von Neumann, scientist and member of the Atomic Energy Commission, 1955.

“The effect of boredom on a large scale is history is underestimated. It is a main cause of revolutions, and would soon bring to an end all the static Utopias and the farmyard civilizations of the Fabians.” – Dean Inge (End of an Age, 1948)

This is nice:” Hilary Clinton again shuts out media”, Of course she shuts out media, too many tough questions. Read the comments, they are great.

“Go from the presence of a fool when no wisdom is found in him” is good advice because when people try to tell you it’s midnight when the sun is shining, unless they are somewhere around the Arctic Circle, they are simply nuts. They just ignore the data and keep right on with their narrative.

In one breath, they try to frighten people with stories of massive death and in the next they rant about over-population. They are against DDT, GMO rice, cheap energy and other things that would actually save lives.

His message may not be consistent, but his behavior certainly is.
