Skiing is a thing of the past, except when heat causes more snow, which happens a little more often than we had first anticipated. But It is all still totally consistent with a warming planet, which causes jetsream disruption. It all makes perfect sense, except to evil Republican deniers who are in bed with Big Oil. Now don’t I deserve a nice grant for making it all seem so crystal clear? After all, it is settled science.
Of tip..

I lived in Los Alamos in northern NM for almost 20 years. 7,400 feet elevation at my front door. We always seemed to get a bad snow event at Halloween. It usually melted off for a couple more weeks before the hard winter freeze came in around Thanksgiving.
When did you live Los Alamos? I spent most of my childhood there.
