This is one is state-wide. It clearly shows that any claim of warming in Alaska is solely due to a climate shift in 76-77 probably due to the PDO phase switch to warm.

Here is another which they moved from their main site to an archive: http://oldclimate.gi.alaska.edu/ClimTrends/Change/7712Change.html

The latest report generated from the NSF funded “Northern Hemisphere Perma-Frost Depletion Program” won’t bode well for the warm bastards.
But hey, The media will never get their hands on it to faithfully produce an impartial full report.
The tax-payer money was well spent on an important cause, so there’s really no reason to bore people with the results, which now have over 35 years of combined data…
This report shows no decrease in perma-frost mass since 2004, but does show a decrease in temperature at 97% of all measured depths since 2004 and growth in well over 80% of all of the measured sites covering the entire hemisphere.
99% of the thermokarst development occurred before the beginning of the Industrial Revolution (and 700-1200 years following the end of the last ice-age), and those that preach the gospel of AGW, which always includes gloom & doom are simply full of shit and brainwashed to the point of no return!

  3. I agree without you, except for the 1200 year thing. More like 3000 years of poor ice hockey performance

  4. I wish they would make up their minds when AGW started.

This article effectively says 150 years ago, even though we were not putting out enough CO2 to matter then.

    Lying bastages!
Let’s just call it the way it is.

Go here: http://climate.gi.alaska.edu/history/History.html and pull up a temperature record of anywhere in Alaska and you won’t see an average of 4F increase in any of it. Take Anchorage for example: showing a linear trend of about +3 degrees F since 1920. The more remote the site the lower the temperature increase. Take the McKinley park for instance… if anything the trend is down. Kodiak? Flat since 1915. Adak? Flat as a pancake since 1945.

On any of the major towns/cities in Alaska there is a disclaimer that the Urban Heat Island (UHI) effect is likely to blame for any temperature increases. For example, here’s whats’ written about the Anchorage record… “Given the combination of site changes and a probable strong heat island, the record must be considered highly questionable. The disagreement between the station history given in the Local Climatological Data annual summaries and that in the digitized record needs to be cleared up.”

Scientific American has sold out to the Liberal machine. Same with National Geographic, and most of the other Mags.

It’s disgusting, and makes me want to wretch.

Nicely done, Steven. See also a paper entitled “The First Decade of the New Century: A Cooling Trend for Most of Alaska

Can someone tell me where I can find the raw data, and who collected it? Thanks.
