RT Explains Fracking

I’m watching Russia Today on television in Mexico.

They say that fracking involves pumping radioactive liquids into the water supply, and releasing dangerous greenhouse gases into the atmosphere.

Yep..I saw thatone…wooo…like som Darth Vaderplan to wip us out….the russians wanna keep theit gasprice up in Europe…but thats the common sense they now call conspiracytheory 🙂

  2. Irregular says:

Can I get some of that water? The luminous hands on my watch need a booster.

  3. John B., M.D. says:

Russia doesn’t want the U.S. or other countries adopting fracking technology. That way, Russia can keep the price of oil and gas high.

  5. Kaboom says:

Fracking is the greatest threat to Putin’s domination-by-energy plans for Europe. It also threatens to kick the legs out under his power base of an inflated bureaucracy and pervasive state entanglement with uncompetitive industries. If Europe were to start fracking in earnest, Putin’s Russia would be over within two years.

  6. DGP says:

Until Russia decides to start fracking. Still it must be difficult to find all those radioactive liquids, when the non-radioactive ones are so plentifull.

  7. Mike Mellor says:

Never mind dangerous greenhouse gases, the Russians have just released dangerous greenpeace activists so who are they to talk?

  8. Louis Hooffstetter says:

I’m surprised Al Jazeera hasn’t weighed in on this yet (or maybe they have and I missed it). Funded by Qatar, (which sits atop the world’s 3rd largest known reserves of natural gas), fracing here in the US is not in their best interest either.

  9. tom0mason says:

Perfectly normal Russian fracking technique. They found that using the bones of your enemy ground to a fine powder and added to the water, improves the quality of the gas.

  10. Did they mention the threat from releasing Kaiju?
