Bottom line – the no upward trend has to continue for a total of 15 years before we get worried. We’re really counting this from about 2004/5 and not 1998.

There will be a new version of HadCRUT3 (which we will call      HadCRUT4!)

The team fears the lack of warming, because once people figure it out, it ends their careers and reputations. That is why they are fighting so hard to silence dissent and suppress the facts.

Like all other prognostications, this will have a moving time, therefore they can never be wrong.

  2. Dale Hartz says:

But, but they control the temperature measurements, e.g. GISS, NCDC, Hadcrut, BEST, etc. Watch out for new adjustments!

Phil Jones’ fellow scientists at UEA however used 1998 as the starting point and published in AMS ‘State Of The Climate, 2008’. Different scientists say different things so that the probability that one is close to being correct in the future can then be cherry picked as “scientists saw this coming”.

  4. Bob Knows says:

Hockey players can understand Algore’s climate graphs. It goes along straight, and then bends sharply up starting tomorrow without much higher taxes.
