1932 Winter Olympics Had No Snow, Days Before The Competition Started

Ya, and Dr. Fruit Fly 4 years ago in Vancouver was calling out CAGW for the lack of snow, forgetting that the next 2-3 years, those same mountains were getting hammered by snow…
Again this year, I have heard from my brother that Whistler is lacking snow again…image that, cyclical, some years with snow, some lacking….
Global warming is going to ruin the winter olympics by preventing snow in Sochi, southern Russia, on the shore of the Black Sea, south of the Crimean beach resorts.
Good thing the Caucasus Mountains are 18,000 feet tall and covered with snow 20 feet deep, huh?
Herny Ford’s evil Model A disrupted the jetstream!
Just for something completely different, Piers Morgan earlier this year met Ian Chappell. “Chappelli” was one of Australia’s great cricket captains, back in the 1970’s when the game was played by real men, with very little in the way of personal protection (Eg. here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R148pbWpA3Q).
Anyway, I’ll let Piers tell the story: https://twitter.com/piersmorgan/status/418354145792626688
Tale of two Olympics!

The thin, rotten, decaying ice has found its way to Sochi.
