Lois Lerner Plead The Fifth, Because There Wasn’t Any Crime Committed

It might do well to remind younger, and more forgetful, readers that one “takes the Fifth” because “I might tend to incriminate myself”–so the act of taking the Fifth does indeed already admit a crime was committed. So yes, the President is lying…again. And Bill O’Reilly is full of himself, rather than pushing for the truth.
A few weeks ago O’Reilly had a segment about FBI statistics on arrests of black and white youth, quoting a 50% arrest rate for blacks and a 40% arrest rate for whites. What he didn’t mention was that whites are classified as Hispanic whites and non-Hispanic whites but the FBI reports, so the Mexican gang M13 for instance in California is classified as whites by the FBI.
When there is a racial component to anything I notice that O’Reilly treads very lightly and living on the East Coast (PC No Truth Zone) I think he is afraid be labelled a racist for fear of damage to his brand, so sometimes the truth isn’t worth the backlash of going there. This is what influenced his decision to let the president slide IMO.
No one can be forced to testify against themselves, but they can be fired from any job which requires them to testify about their actions in that job.
And she resigned also…because there was no crime.
They would be isolated, ridiculed, defunded and would not get credit for their work until 60 years after they died.
I am no fan of this administration or the IRS and their recent actions. But, you would have to be a fool to not take the 5th. The side of the road is strewn with innocent people who willingly testified and yet were indicted for crimes they didn’t commit. At the least they can catch you in a classic perjury trap if you misstate something you did or did not do months or even years ago. The police, prosecutors and investigators are not your friends and have no conscience when it comes to prosecuting innocent people. They get paid and get promotions for guilty verdicts and not for honesty and justice.
So true, but do you really think Holder’s Injustice Department would prosecute?
I don’t recall anyone getting indicted for crimes after testimony like this, except those who were flat out lying. And it is actually for lying to investigators like the FBI or a grand jury that people are charged, and not the testimony in the few cases I can recall.
What O’Reilly and the rest of the press should be asking BHO, HC and Susan Rice et al, is where did you get the intelligence that said Benghazi attack was the result of a video. Who was this person that first said this to these people? What intelligence? That is the first question that needs to be asked. That sets up everything after that and should uncover all the other lies!
To me, that stuff is a side show that is too easily blamed on subordinates, bad communication, etc. We know what they were doing, but the gullible don’t care.
The thing that can not be blamed on anyone other than those at the top, is that there was no response in the 8 hours or however long the attack went on. That absolutely is the key issue that should be focused on. If he had asked a follow up, of “And what did you do in the hours after you knew there was an attack?” or something along those lines, there would have been no way to dance around that.
Obama had just said that “Bill, what folks are focused on is what’s happening on the ground, do we have eyes on it, how can we make sure our folks are secure…” So he can’t then weasel out if asked, “so what did you do to make sure they were secure since it went on for 8 hours afterwards?”
Clinton should get the same question. There is no way she was not told about it as it was still happening as well.
