NOAA has institutionalized data tampering of nearly two degrees in the US temperature record.
When the Great Lakes set a new record for ice cover this month, NOAA will still report that a few dozen years were colder – even though that is impossible. Are the fraudsters going to argue that the freezing point of water has changed?
They have to claim that both the boiling point and freezing point of water is drifting. Those are the calibration points used since the invention of thermometers. The energy required for heat of vaporization and heat of fusion allow for those temperatures to remain stable for a lengthy heat soak time to allow for a precise 2-point calibration.
Otherwise, there is absolutely no justification for adjusting the historical temperature record.
NOAA being headquartered in the most corrupt city in the US, is following the lead from the rest of Washington DC. Lie, cheat, steal, blame someone else, retire before the investigations start. Just get the money.
