Our side ran two candidates who couldn’t even win their

over the top with a glowing “post Sandy” tribute that elevated the
“Commander-in-Chief” to Mother Teresa status. (Aside: with
the way the polls were run, he didn’t need any help!)
People like me are completely politically irrelevant, and I
will never again comment on or concern myself with the aforementioned
coalition which has surrendered our culture, our heritage and our traditions without a shot
being fired.
You will never again out-vote these people. It will take individual acts of
defiance and massive displays of civil disobedience to get back the
rights we have allowed them to take away. It will take Zealots, not moderates
& shy, not reach-across-the-aisle RINOs to right this ship and restore our beloved country to its
former status.
Those who come after us will have to risk their lives, their
fortunes and their sacred honor to bring back the Republic that this
generation has timidly frittered away due to “white guilt” and political correctness…

We had a lot of help from our enemies. Senator Joseph McCarthy was wrong the ‘Reds’ weren’t ‘under the bed’ They were in our Government, in Hollywood, in Academia, and especially in our news media, shaping our opinions and loading us down with guilt and destroying our culture.
Agreed. I occasionally lose my will to fight and then the Marxists do another destructive thing and it reenergizes me. We need to start with liberal blogs debunking the massive lies and myths about Conservative values. I do that now and generally try to be polite and factual with references, I occasionally slip into sarcasm and snark. Then I wash my hands and jump back into the fray. I may lose my job for my beliefs but when a person who believes in the wisdom of our Constitution is considered a terrorist and far right radical, how can you battle that? Short of starting small communities of like minded people I see no remedy. They have the schools, our kids minds and the media. It is a monumental task that most don’t even recognize as a problem.
I state this for the record: 1) We are not racist, but will fight back when accused by racists. 2) We are not cruel and uncaring, however perpetual victimhood and dependence will be fought. 3) We are not anti-government, however government has a limited role in our Republic and has grown to be an intrusive inefficient juggernaut that needs to be gotten under control. 4) I am fiercely American and will defend this country to the death. 5) I am proud to be American regardless of the beatings in the press we endure.
I fear for my kids future. We need to win to keep the ideal alive. I would follow a non-Marxist Democratic president. This one is a flop and a Marxist.

I wish that would fix it — but my suspicion is that even that would only be a short term solution. The problem with the so-called “Progressives” is that they absolutely won’t leave anyone alone. (I know; I have some in my close family!) Their entire political approach is based on the ideal that not only do they know better than you what is best for you, but that they also have the absolute right to force you to comply. The don’t believe in “live and let live”. To use a more old fashioned word, they do not believe in freedom.
I devoutly hope that with the millions of people in this country, someone will come up with a good solution, but right now, I do not think that the “Progressives” will ever stop their unethical quest for power over We The People until there is blood in the streets. I pray I am wrong about that…

Today, the “Progressives” pretend that they are at the forefront of political evolution, when the truth is the are simple old fashioned authoritarians and collectivists. Names OUGHT to mean something, but today, the perfectly good name of “Classical Liberal” has been so tarnished by several generations of pretenders to liberalism, that one uses it at his own risk. Even the perfectly good name of “Conservative” has been so tarnished by pretenders to conservativism that one uses it also at risk.
