NOAA Global Temperatures Are Fake Data

NOAA showed numerous places on Earth as being the hottest ever in September. I placed arrows pointing to several of them.

Land-Ocean

This is fake data. NOAA didn’t have any thermometer records at those “record hot” locations, or over about half of the land surface. But it gets worse. NOAA had cold thermometer data from Antarctica, but they left it off the land-ocean map.  The ratio of red to blue in land-ocean map is probably 30:1, but in the land only map it is much lower than that.

Land Only

The animation below shows how NOAA fabricates record hot temperatures from nothing, and throws out of very cold temperatures.

NOAA creates fake climate data for the White House. In six days this scam ends.

    Very elegant and telling.

    WOW!
They got rid of all the cold weather in the Americas.

    Another zinger.

There may also be question marks over several other places including northern PNG, Jakarta/Indonesia, southern Iran and eastern Greenland. All showing ‘red hot’ but the temp coverage image appears to show grey.

This is an instant classic, Tony.

  6. Terry C says:

Is there a comparison that shows only the land temp anomalies with and without the infilled “fake” data. Adding in the SST data makes the comparison more dramatic but also subject to complaints of apples vs oranges.

Fake it til ya make it!

The Canadian prairies had a terrible September and October. There was no way it was warmer than normal.

This seems a little odd, but the explanation could be that the land-only are based on 1981-2010-average and the grey area are missing data as the text says, whereas the land only use another ( unexplained reference ). One could ask the authors (?)
