Yay! We fixed it! Now maybe the Global Warming hoaxers will shut the eff up.

    • Darius Picard says:

Not a chance, they don’t care what the fact are they know what they believe.

      • Nun Yad Ambiz Ness says:

Face it, “Climate change” is a religion. It ceased to be science when the “scientists” gave up on the Scientific Method and decided to make “consensus” the Holy Grail. “The science is settled!” did it for me, as a former Chemistry major it was at that point I knew it was political, not science.

        • TM says:

Quite correct. Consensus and correlation are the faulty tenets on which this religion of belief is based.

          • Bob Steele says:

Since anything can be correlated to anything else their science is like that game ‘6 degrees of Kevin Bacon’.

        • Are there really people who still don’t know climate change/global warming is just another government-run tax scam? For Christ’s sake, read something besides fake news from MSNBC, CNN and Fox.

          • The_Real_RealityCheck says:

Not the **US** government – not now that the Trump administration’s running the show. The “global warming/climate change yada yada” web page is gone from US government websites. Thank God adults are in charge now, and sanity prevails.

          • tom smith says:

Donald Trump. An adult? That statement says everything you need to know about Republicans, and the Cloud Cuckoo Land of alternate facts they have manufactured. And as for climate change being a religion- scientists are mainly atheists!!!! iI’s the fundmentalist Christian religious fanatics who believe God is just too good a guy to let anything bad happen to humanity. And by the ay, they don’t believe in evolution either, for religious reasons as well. To turn around and call scientists “religious” is the ultimate in idiocy.

Ditto – from a retired physics professor. As soon as I saw the “raw data” which is actually mainly “modeled data”, I knew it was a hoax.

          • biffula says:

I’m a bio-chemist and those of us that work in REAL science fields have laughed at the ‘science’ behind ‘climate change’ for almost 20 years now. What you learn in any jr. high school about science teaches you that.

          • RAH says:

It is a hoax but more properly I think it is a scam.
A hoax can be a joke but a scam is perpetrated to deceive for profit or gain.

          • Bob Steele says:

I’m just an old man with a high school diploma but I’m smart enough to know that when a Liberal Democrat speaks it is a lie. I call it Gore-Bal Warming.

        • Edmonton Al says:

“Man-made climate change.” is a religion.
Climate change is real. No skeptic thinks it isn’t

          • Gail Combs says:

Of course a changing climate is real. It is “climate change” as defined by the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change that is completely bogus.

            Here’s the official definition:

“Climate change” means a change of climate which is attributed directly or indirectly to human activity that alters the composition of the global atmosphere and which is in addition to natural climate variability observed over comparable time periods.”

That’s from the official UN Framework Convention on Climate Change ( or

The term specifically excludes all natural climate change, and even excludes any caused by humans due to, for example, land clearance or city building, considering only atmospheric changes.

So most people have been hoodwinked thoroughly. Of course that’s the idea. The ClimAstrologists can make all sorts of horrendous claims about “climate change” (assuming their definition), which people assume to apply to, not “climate change”, but to a change of climate (meaning any change, whatever the cause or mechanism). So if they say, “climate change” is 1000 times more than it was 100 years ago, that may be true, but it might still be that the change of climate is negligible.

REAL CLIMATE CHANGE, the type the Warmist deny.

          • Ted Eckerson says:

Everyone knows that climate change is real…the debate is over man made climate change… I am still trying to figure how we got out of the ice ages.

        • larryolakeside says:

Ditto – from community college soil science instructor. Nothing is in a steady state. Nothing. You cannot stop change.

        • Dukegrit says:

Amen. I quit science and changed my major. Scientists spend more time “theorizing” and no time thinking of the real world and facts.

        • Roberthere says:

Climate Change fits nicely with the New World Order, Global Governance and control by unelected, unaccountable bereaucracts. The Clintonestas, the Bushi and such serve “other” interests and not America’s.

        • You are right. Dare to express skepticism even within the academy and you are shunned like a lepper, treated hardly better by fellow “professionals” than by the hacktivist students whom they brainwashed about “climate change”. And that phrase is an incoherent word substituting for “CO2-driven global warming”, which was never proven out. Of course, climate changes all the time, but the advocates of the CO2 theory have gone so far into the bidding of their Washington funding masters, that they try to erase the Minoan, Roman and Medieval Warm Periods, certifiably warmer than today. Also the Little Ice Age, erase it quickly! It is the death of science.

I produced the largest study on the most intense epoch of real climate change since the end of the Pleistocene, notably the drying up of the Saharasian Desert Belt from green-wet conditions into dry-arid conditions starting around 4000 BCE. Today, nobody wants to hear about it. It is the death of science.

Add to that the demonization of anyone who dares to disagree, especially with relevant data. It’s an old debating joke – that when they try to kill you, it means they realize they’ve lost the argument.

        • wow says:

Climate change is real. 4 billion years ago the sun was only about 40% as warm. There are warm periods, there are ice ages. Science* has worked on these things for over 100 years.

        • Wee Liam says:

Religion thinly disguised as science, yes sir.

Kind of like the Big Bang Theory (genuflects).

        • Spencer says:

Same for me from when I was studying statistics. Most of us have heard “correlation does not equal causation”. So many philosophers out there pushing correlations with confirmation biases out there as “fact”, and the young minds they are brainwashing have no clue whatsoever how full of it they are. As a matter of fact, look at the backs of these papers they write today. All they do is quote other people’s work instead of doing their own research and coming up with their own conclusions. And we wonder why US students are so far behind.

        • Ralph Miller says:

You are correct. But one must understand that the climate must chnage. If it doesn’t the earth would cease to exist. This is not the same change the nuts proclaim they can fix and only need all of our money to do this. Drought happens, huge snow happens, floods, etc. Cow farts don’t effect things, human may affect it but the change is so small it doesn’t much matter. People need to understand that millions of years ago anaimals were monster size and temps were much warmer then we we should not give liberals all our money. We should lock them up when they run around crying that the earth is dying becuase of global warming.have ever seen.

        • The_Real_RealityCheck says:

“Global warming” => biggest international wealth redistribution scheme ever devised. No science involved.

      • Just another government-run tax scam. What should we expect from politicians?

      • Julia m says:

You are right, frost bite can cost their toes but they won’t admit climate change is a fraud. Follow the money it’s always been a money laundering scam mostly benefiting the dems.

It snows in winter. It’s cold in winter. Must be no global warming. Are you really saying that is your logic?

      • Maria says:

The most snow in 100 years isn’t just winter, it’s the snowiest winter during the same Al Gore and others have claimed that man made global warming would eliminate winter snow.

      • Terry says:

I guess its obvious … you are all TITS and NO Brains!!
        Typical looney NM liberal.

      • Sunsettommy says:

        tits magee.

The IPCC 2001 report specifically says there is to be LESS snow and more rain/freezing rain.

Instead it is actually MORE snow since 2001.

Your logic, is overwhelmed by your ignorance.

        • Andy DC says:

Yes, remember all of this “snow is a thing of the past” BS back around 2000, plus all of the dire predictions about the death of the ski industry?

We have spent billions to come up with all of these incredible inaccuracies. Time for Trump to say “You are fired!” to all of these frauds that are raiding the US treasury, with very little to show for their work, other than ever increasing “adjustments” to mitigate their inaccuracies.

      • Smif Jones says:

yes, this is their logic, however, President Trump has removed this lie in a swamp of lies that is being drained. President Trump needs to stop these so-called protests in the name of safety for American citizens. Establish a protest space for these people so innocent Americans are not in fear for their lives. The right to protest does not allow these people the right to threaten citizens of America.

    • Robert Johnson says:

No they’ll never shut up because it’s a religion to them. Yeah, the climate changes, but that’s sort of like saying the sun rises. It’s been happening since the dawn of time.

The fact that they would politicize it just shows you how little regard they have for the intelligence of their base.

      • Wee Liam says:

        Been happening since the beginning.

I tell them, “OF COURSE it’s changing! That’s all it’s ever done!
If it didn’t change, the very CONCEPT of climate would be impossible!

      You’re an idiot.

    • Gerald Marquardt says:

      They never will!!

    • garyroman says:

of course! because the fact it snowed in one state, in one country, in one continent , during the winter season totally disproves AGW theory. In your mind.

And risk giving up money and power? You gotta be kidding

    • RC says:

No, they will not. They will argue that colder weather and more snow are clear signs of a warmer climate, but they will quit blaming Bush for the problem as clearly it is Trump’s fault now.

Widespread Flaws in Weather Stations Networks Used to Track National Temperature Trends, Says New Study
Boulder, CO (PRWEB) May 11, 2011

A national volunteer project, 4 years in the making, and now published as a peer reviewed scientific study, has discovered that the majority of the US climate monitoring network does not meet technical requirements for long term climate monitoring. Only 1 in 10 NOAA stations were found to meet siting criteria to be free of urbanization encroachment. The study raises questions about the accuracy and certainty of the climate record.

        • AndyG55 says:

” has discovered that the majority of the US climate monitoring network does not meet technical requirements for long term climate monitoring.”

Now try to imagine what the rest of the world’s temperature stations are like.

Sure there will be the occasional good one, but even the stations used for the Central England Temperature data are somewhat corrupted.

          • Colorado Wellington says:

True, the USHCN network is the best organized and most extensive, while for the most part the rest of the world is worse or non-existent. And despite being the best, USHCN and its temperature records are in bad shape. This letter to The Fort Collins Coloradoan mentions the work done by Tony Heller (aka Steven Goddard):

            Letter: Weather records inadequate
            Nov 2, 2014

The excellent Soapbox by Dr. William Gray (Coloradoan, Oct. 19) debunked every claim made by global-warming alarmists. Earth has warmed over the past few hundred years as it rebounded from the dire cold of the Little Ice Age, and may continue to warm further, but man and CO2 had little to do with this natural climate change.

Most of the presumed increase in global temperatures as measured by weather stations in recent decades was and is the result of the Urban Heat Island (UHI) effect. Nearly all surface weather stations are located in or near town and cities: we have heated our weather stations by building cities around them. Consequently, most land-based records are worthless for assessing changes in global temperatures (Surface Temperature Records: Policy Driven Deception, D’Aleo and Watts, SPPI, 1/27/2010). The paper, “A UHI Tale of Two Cities,”, documents the large UHI effect on temperatures at the student union in Fort Collins vs. temperatures measured at the better-protected weather station at Boulder. As documented by D’Aleo and Watts, and several other authors, many of the people in charge of our weather stations and records have done a shoddy job of maintaining equipment and records, and at times even falsified records (e.g.,Real Science,Steven Goddard). The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration recently announced that September was the hottest September in 135 years of record keeping, the fourth monthly record this year, and forecasted 2014 as the hottest year ever (Denver Post, Oct. 21). These statements do not square with satellite-measured world temperatures, which have not changed in nearly two decades ( global- temperatures/). In a recent blog (Oct. 21), Roy Spencer, Ph.D., explains why 2014 cannot and will not be the warmest year on record, and it would not mean much even if it were because of our sorry weather records.

        • AndyG55 says:

Basically even with the sparse, barely greater than 50% land surface coverage, they have absolutely NO IDEA of the quality of many of the temperature stations they use.

It took an unpaid third party group t show just how bad the USA sites were.

Yet who is paid millions to “create” the surface data scam sets.!!

          • Gail Combs says:

As Gov’t paid ‘science’ becomes more and more politicized (read faked), crowd sourced science has come into it’s own.

Being placed directly on asphalt which heats up like hell in summer is very scientific.
The cage wire also reduces air flow,
but at least two sides are not isolated by parking cars ,
and one side is green gras
so the heat of the engines of cars can only reach the station from 3 sides.

That’s almost scientific and fair :)

    • Faritani says:

New Mexico has several great ski resorts already, who are doing great business with all this extra powder. Don’t be ignorant!

    • NMGal says:

They’ve got ski resorts in northern NM….Taos, Santa Fe’s Sangri de Christo Mts, Raton, and even Albuquerque has a ski lift down on the Sandia Mts. But the big news here is that they can make snow angels in Chama right now…..but might get buried if they flutter their “wings” too fast!

    • Dead Mule says:

A 4 letter word for steep – Taos. Just south of the Co. boarder along the Rio Grande. As, if not more challenging then Aspen, T.ride … at about 1/2 the price. If you ski you would be crazy to skip the place. Note: The town of Taos sit’s just below a mile and a half above sea level, the base of the slopes are at around 8,500 ft. above sea level. Be ready to deal w/ the altitude, it’s thin up here.

    • David says:

Last year in Santa Fe…the skiing was much better

  8. aniser says:

This makes since to me. If the Earth is warmer then there is more moisture in the atmosphere, therefore more rain and snow.

      • David says:

Must say…not here in Santa Fe…..has been cold on some days…but going back in the 40s…..but the warmth is good

      • Tracie says:

That is not exactly true down in Carlsbad. We have been warmer this year and have not had a hard freeze at all. So might want to make sure you get your facts correct.

      • Marco says:

Not true. Temps were a bit warmer overall for the month according to Albq TV weather. We had a lot of rain – some years it would have been more snow at lower elevations.

    • Sunsettommy says:

The 2001 IPCC report says that a warming world means LESS snow and MORE rain/freezing rain.

However we have been getting a lot MORE snow since 2001.

      • ron says:

Virtually nothing that hoaxsters have predicted over the decades since climate charlatanism started has come true. I would say “…nothing…has…,” but then some adherent would be able to point out one lucky fluke, somewhere.

        • Colorado Wellington says:

As the predicted catastrophic events failed to happen, the alarmists stipulated that the opposite is also a result of anthropogenic global warming. We were first told it will be hotter with less snow. When arctic blasts with tons of snow arrived and people started questioning the predictions, we were advised that such weather is also caused by global warming. Little by little, even the most unlikely events were attributed to man’s CO2 emissions. The scientists claimed in effect that if they knew in the beginning what was going to happen they could have predicted it because it’s all compatible with their hypothesis.

Global warming: is there anything it can’t do?

    • I think Global warming is a conspiracy by big businesses to put snow removal companies like me out of business and that hurts my feelings to think about how they bully the little man out of a job.

    • Neil Barron says:

No the colder it is the more moisture is forced out of the atmosphere, thats why the poles are drier than the sand deserts.

    • Colorado Wellington says:

The official “climate science” says otherwise and we were repeatedly assured that snow will be a thing of the past if we don’t change our wicked ways.

And remember, it’s also unpatriotic to disagree with climate scientists.

“As for the Western part of the country, it will lose an estimated 25 to 100 percent of its snowpack by 2100 if greenhouse-gas emissions are not curtailed — reducing the snowpack in Park City, Utah, to zero and relegating skiing to the top quarter of Ajax Mountain in Aspen.”
“There will still be a sliver of winter. That sliver is going to get smaller and smaller.”
“Nothing besides a national policy shift on how we create and consume energy will keep our mountains white in the winter — and slow global warming to a safe level.

This is no longer a scientific debate. It is scientific fact.”

      • Joe Allen says:

SCIENCE should be our LEAST CONTROVERSIAL body of knowledge, because SCIENCE tests each Hypothesis against reality via the SCIENTIFIC METHOD (designed, repeatable experiments).

SCIENCE is a body of knowledge that has been established by means of, and only by means of, the SCIENTIFIC METHOD (ie, designed, repeatable experiments).

Unfortunately, today we have many dishonest SCIENTISTS who are using a fraudulent definition of SCIENCE that replaces the Scientific Method with a CONSENSUS. Here’s their fraudulent definition of SCIENCE:

SCIENCE is a body of knowledge that has been established by means of a CONSENSUS (ie: politics, egotism, greed, etc).

For example, these dishonest Scientists tell us that (1) Man-Caused Global Warming and (2) the Normalcy of Homosexuality and (3) Darwinian Macro-Evolution, have been established as SCIENCE by means of a “CONSENSUS among experts.”

    • Anonymous age 74 says:

In spite of your sarcasm, Isaac Asimov wrote many years ago that when the planet warms up, more ocean is exposed, that is not covered with ice. This allows more water vapor in winter and glaciers accumulate more snow then melts in summer.

Thus, warmer means glaciers grow. Not melt off. And, when the planet cools, more ocean is frozen over, less water vapor produces less snow and the glaciers melt off.

I have been to the Arctic Ocean and the photos shown on TV during Obama’s visit last year as proof of glacier melting were no more than normal summer melt off.

Geez, you guys. Let me try to explain it like you’re five years old.
You’ve got more snow than usual? OK.
Snow is made of water vapor in the atmosphere.
So really what you’ve got is more atmospheric water vapor than usual.
Water gets into the atmosphere by evaporation from large bodies of water.
Evaporation is enhanced by water temperature.
So really what you’ve got is higher water temperature than usual.
This is probably not because of a Chinese plot to manipulate the exchange rate.

    • tonyheller says:

Warm air produces rain. Cold air produces snow. January in New Mexico was very cold. You are a complete moron.

      • JTS says:

Air doesn’t produce snow or rain: water vapor does.
Literally the only possible explanation for more snow than usual is more water vapor than usual. This isn’t a political issue, it’s very basic logic.

        • Richard Keen says:

JTS, Air DOES produce rain and/or snow, by the simple act of rising upwards and cooling that moist air to make condensation. In other words, you need weather systems – fronts, lows, winds blowing up and over mountains – to produce snow/rain. Without it, no snow.
In New Mexico, you get more storms (lows, etc) when the regional climate is cooler, and the jet stream is farther south.
It’s not politics, it’s fundamental meteorology with which meteorologists have been making successful forecasts for years.
BTW, the most humid place on the planet – the Persian Gulf – also has some of the least rainfall.

        • Sunsettommy says:

          please don’t be so dumb.

The 2001 IPCC report made it clear that a warming world would DECREASE snow and INCREASE rain/freezing rain.

Instead as Tony and others point out,it is INCREASING snow since 2001 instead.

AGW is a long failed conjecture.

    • TimboA says:

Boom!! You explained it like YOU’RE 5 years old!!Time out!

  20. Peter York says:

pod people like to argue how warm air holds more moisture so heavy rain, snow & hurricanes are due to warming, without considering of what evidentiary value are droughts and heatwaves if so (Victor Davis Hansen’s point).

it must be both, exactly the same as how liberals get out of bed every morning with all the brains and all the heart, too!

such a deal: turn your brain off, put a smile on it, and say ‘yes’. oh, and giggle a lot.

  21. Uncle Al says:

    Water’s latent enthalpy of condensation is 541.29 cal/gram. Water’s specific enthalpy is 1 cal/g. Water’s latent enthalpy of fusion is 79.72 cal/gram. Precipitation of solid water from water vapor precipitates a massive release of heat: (541.29 cal/gram + 100 cal/g + 79.72 cal/gram) = 721 cal/gram.

Preening academic intellectual vacuity says “being illiterate, innumerate, and borderline retarded is Authenticity.” If 70 inches of snow is 190 centimeters of water, for each square mile of New Mexico then (190 cm)(5.290×10^10 cm^2)(721 cal/cm^3) = 7.25 quadrillion calories for every square mile of New Mexico.

GLOBAL WARMING IS CAUSED BY SNOW. The Carbon Tax on Everything must be re-enforced by the Universal Snow Tax. Pay up, Siberia, Canada, and Buffalo , NY! You are killing all the little Muslim children.

  22. Tom Lahman says:

It’s that damned Global Warming! Something MUST BE DONE before we all freeze to death!!

  23. Paul Sheridan says:

Wouldn’t it be nice if carbon dioxide really DID drive climate (specifically temperatures)! Then, all we would have to do is pump a few more PPMs of that green plant elixir into the atmosphere and viola! We’re nice and warm again . . . .

  24. Nelson says:

We have a cabin in Chama! Love it. Try the Chama Chile Ski Classic some time. Also, ski into the spruce hole yurt. Good friends run it. The view from our front porch.

  25. Brutha V says:

Please send this article to that dope Udall, and the other dope/climate change nut, Sen. Martin Heinrich (NM).

  26. Jiminy Crickets says:

I’ve told you peoples once; now get it through your heads…

Globull warming is great. Investment opportunities galore. One example: Algore’s slush funds.

  27. Ptomain Tommy says:

I’ll almost , start to believe in GW when gores ocean front mansion starts sinking and has a boat dock in the kitchen.

  28. roberto says:

Chama chama chama chama chama chameleon….

  29. Francisco Machado says:

The AGW cabal dedicates most of its PR time to fiercely defending the reality that climate changes, often by citing changes within a few decades or within a century, which neglects reality – climate changes are millennial in nature with many interim variations. Still, it is – for them – a reasonable approach, since hardly anyone will dispute that climate changes. Saying those who oppose them are denying climate change (and they do actually say that) is mud slinging, plain and simple. The critical issue, the one they cannot effectively defend, is their claim that human activities affect climate change to a meaningful degree or at all. Even the IPCC claim is that changes in human activity will alter the natural temperature change by a fraction of a degree, and – given the inaccuracy of their other predictions – that claim is balderdash. Their “adjustments” are larger than that. A factor never brought up is that the world will be unpredictably different by the end of the century. If you traveled a century ago, it was by coal fired train or coal fired ship. Forget road travel – that was a real adventure! The Titanic, most advanced ship of its day, was coal fired. The ice man’s horse drawn cart delivered ice to keep your ice box cold. Commercial radio was new. Your building was heated by coal (ours still was after WW II, and that was common). In a century, your home may have its own fusion generator – hell, your flashlight may have its own fusion generator.

  30. cjones1 says:

Bolide impacts roughly 35 million years ago resulted in craters located in the Chesapeake Bay, Siberia, and Mt. Ashmore. Earth pealed and the crust heaved. Antarctica froze over.
Another impact 2.5 million years ago near Timor and effects from the isthmus of Panama forming caused the Arctic to freeze and the Pleistocene ice age. Glaciers 1-3 miles high in New York melted raising sea levels 400 feet (130 meters) and some believe impacts across North America 11,500 years ago were the cause.
I’ve been to Meteor Crater in Arizona, but the snow in Chama may be the beginning of the end of the nice, warm interglacial we have been experiencing for the last 8000 years.

    • Gail Combs says:

Actually the Holocene interglacial is now ~11,720 years old. That’s two centuries or so beyond half the present precession cycle (or 23,000/2=11,500). So the little Ice Age was about the right time for glacial inception. However we had the Modern Grand Solar Maximum, the most active sun in the past 3,000 years that kicked the USA back into a warmer climate. SEE: A History of Solar Activity over Millennia Usoskin et al. “present the first fully adjustment-free physical reconstruction of solar activity” covering the past 3,000 years. The record allowed them “to study different modes of solar activity at an unprecedented level of detail.” Their reconstruction of solar activity displays several “distinct features,” including several “well-defined Grand minima of solar activity, ca. 770 BC, 350 BC, 680 AD, 1050 AD, 1310 AD, 1470 AD, and 1680 AD,” as well as “the modern Grand maximum (which occurred during solar cycles 19-23, i.e., 1950-2009),” described as “a rare or even unique event, in both magnitude and duration, in the past three millennia.”

“Sami Solanki, Professor at the Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich Switzerland, says the Sun has been burning more brightly over the last 60 years than over the previous 1090 years.” (wwwDOT),000-year_high.html?cid=3990930

And in further news from Royal Astronomical Society (RAS): “Solar activity predicted to fall 60% in 2030s, to ‘mini ice age’ levels: Sun driven by double dynamo.”

So maybe we get to witness the descent into glaciation. WHAT FUN! ?

  31. says:

Apparently you have never been trout fishing on the Chama in spring ? What a bunch of twits. Snow? No kidding. Stuck a jeep. Went back to fishing. You guys need a life.

  32. David Appell says:

Well, there is now more water vapor in the atmosphere…….

  33. Eloy says:

    but…but…but…cow farts?

  34. Theopholus says:

To the wheel and lashwhip, O’ ye climate deniers!
You’ll rue the day, I tells ya! Snow means warming.

  35. Yuri Tard says:

it could also be the curse of Chama

  36. Scott Allen says:

I would like to know why these global warming/climate change/climate disruption believers hate poor people and the elderly so much. More people are dying from fuel poverty in Europe because of the carbon taxes and green energy cost are so high.

  37. Bombastic One says:

Want to see a great you tube video – “Drain the Great Lakes” – from the ice age until now.

  38. Arm says:

Climate change? The climate changes all the time; changes by the second, minute, hour, day, week, month, year, decade, century etc etc etc

  39. Arm says:

Climate changer is a fraud perpetuated by the elite and the fraudulent UN.

  40. Scientist Sally says:

The amount of stupidity in this comment thread is stupdendous.

  41. Puck roger says:

Alright this does not stand in the way of global warming it’s just proves it more and more, whether we experience a fifty-yearsof weather, it does not matter we’re looking out for the globe there will sooner or later be a devastating global warming.

    • Colorado Wellington says:

… just proves it more and more … there will sooner or later be a devastating global warming.

Heh. You got it. Since the anthropogenic global warming hypothesis forecasts every possible weather on Earth being a result of marginally increased atmospheric CO2 content, then of course every possible weather event *) confirms the hypothesis. There is nothing that can happen in nature to disprove it. Because science.

*) Preeminent science educator Bill Nye discussed with a scientifically-minded CNN presenter if non-weather events should be included, and came to the conclusion they should not be, “… except it’s all science. The word meteorology and the word meteor come from the same root, so, uhh…”

      Climate Science (R)

CNN anchor suggests meteor hurtling toward Earth could be a result of global warming

  42. Dr. Strangelove says:

Funny reading all of the posts of those that don’t believe in the GW model. If you trace it’s origins back for enough, you’ll find that this theory was started by big oil. What they wanted was to be able to charge you at the pump, then from what comes out of your tailpipe. ‘Oil’ companies are in the carbon business. Who runs one of the biggest exchanges where carbon credits are sold ? Why, a bunch of former Enron executives.

All you have to know about Global Warming/Climate change debate is this: It’s not about climate, it’s about money and whoever wins, everything will be fine and we’ll all live.

  43. J. Kinsworthy says:

The long and the short of tes quasi-pseudo-semi “weather science” leverage is this: simply (and also profoundly) a means of gaining control over those parts of the planet that will submit. I.e., China & Russia will continue to urinate all over the machinations of the leftists clamoring to, uhhh, rule the world. The end result, if the swinish left is successful, will be the planet being split more or less evenly between these two forces.

  45. Brent Cooper says:

Clearly the climate does change. It has changed from the beginning of time. It has gotten colder and has gotten warmer. It goes through cycles. What has been omitted from the discussion is that climate change is necessary for the health of the earth since it has continually changed from the beginning of time and by trying to halt the change, people like Gore and the UN may be causing harm

  46. Oygevalt says:

I always wondered where, how, the claim started that CO2 emissions caused by man could cause global “warming”, since I thought the amount if CO2 created by man is a small percentage of total CO2, even smaller amount of total Green House Gases and a much smaller amount of total Atmospheric Gases. Does anyone know how much CO2 man emits as compared to the “normal” amount of CO2, e.g. a percentage, and then what percentage that is of all Green House Gases, and following that, what percentage of total atmospheric gases? Just a lousy numbers guy wondering what all the fuss is.

    • Michael Haluska, PE says:

The atmosphere of Mars is 99.9% CO2 – it should be 78 degrees F every day if CO2 is as great a “greenhouse gas” as the “AGW Frauds” claim!!!

  47. Alan J. Perrick says:

    but White countries for everybody?

    That’s genocide.

  48. Shane says:

You are fake news. We have had less snow and warmer temperatures throughout central New Mexico this year. But don’t lead real data get in the way of your faith-based data-free zeal.

  49. L. Sanchez says:

I’m 39, and lived in New Mexico most of my life. I also drive between Albuquerque and just south of Chama every day. Here are my observations:
NM has kind of strange weather, and this year has been one of the more odd ones. We are about 2 years out of a severe drought that, in 2012, had several massive forest fires that nearly burned down the labs in Los Alamos, which sits on the side of the mountain in the forest (what’s left of it). For those of you who don’t know, we build nuclear weapons there. Ever since those fires, the weather has been… Different. We have been getting steady rains and snow fall in the Jemez mountains, directly South of Chama. The Jemez mountains sit nearly in the center of northern NM, and it’s effected Albuquerque to an extent, too- it stayed fairly warm this year and rained for the first three storms of the season when it should have snowed.
This doesn’t mean a whole lot on its own, but I get the feeling that the weather, since those fires and drought, is being modified. That sounds sort of wacky, but the phenomenon of increased precipitation in central nm has been off recently, and off in subtle but regular way.
Hopefully Chama gets more snowfall, the runoff there is much needed for the rest of the state.

  50. M. Drury says:

    Wait a minute,…….there’s a NEW Mexico?

  51. Michael Haluska, PE says:

Only “Pseudo Scientists” would claim that we can alter the Earth’s climate by redistributing wealth around the world from prosperous capitalist nations to bankrupt socialist nations. “Consensus Science” should be driven from scientific discussion permanently. As Dr. Michael Crichton said:

“Let’s be clear: the work of science has nothing whatever to do with consensus. Consensus is the business of politics. Science, on the contrary, requires only one investigator who happens to be right, which means that he or she has results that are verifiable by reference to the real world. In science consensus is irrelevant. What is relevant is reproducible results. The greatest scientists in history are great precisely because they broke with the consensus.”

“There is no such thing as consensus science, if it’s consensus, it isn’t science. If it’s science, it isn’t consensus. Period.”

  52. Suzanne says:

Weather has become a tool of the elite or governments to control the sheeple. Google it. You’ll be floored. Yes taxing is up there but control is the most important thing. You can wipe out places with floods, rivers, hurricanes etc. You can parch places and grow no food. Then conveniently and quietly sell off national reserves. Starvation does indeed kill people. Make guns go away… no meat. Illegal to have garden… Northwestern state already. Make collecting God given rain water illegal – multiple states. But taxation on top of this is evil. Plain out evil.

  53. Dwstick says:

Famous statements made throughout human history:

Phlogiston is real. The science is settled.
