On this date in 1930, almost the entire US was over 70 degrees, and ninety degree temperatures were widespread across the midwest. Clarinda, Iowa was 96 degrees. Today’s forecast at Clarinda is 62 degrees.
The hottest April 10ths in the US were 1930, 1934, 1910, 1915, 1945 and 1925. All more than 70 years ago, and with CO2 below 315 PPM. Global warming is the biggest scam in science history.
Clearly the Russians (with the help of Trump and the Koch Brothers) have hacked our historic temperature data in order to get more republicans elected.
How can you rely on extremely primitive sun dials used by Early Man in 1930 to read the temperature? Every idiot knows that accurate temperature readings did not come about until 1979.
High today near Anderson, IN (30 mi NNE of Indianapolis) is forecast to be 76 deg. F.
Unfortunately the unusually strong winds persist. It has been unusually windy here consistently since about two weeks before the end of winter. I’ve spent hours picking up sticks both manually and using my lawn sweeper and my 6′ diameter fire ring is once again full but I can’t burn. I also can’t spray for weeds with this wind and the dandelions have gotten a head start on me. Did my first mowing Saturday. The grass is growing like crazy with all the rain we’ve had.
1930 was the first year of horrific drought and heat, which caused disastrous crop failures and marked the beginning of the Dust Bowl.
It’s getting to the point where kids won’t know what drought is…
