Here she is quoted in the Atlantic: https://www.theatlantic.com/science/archive/2017/08/did-climate-change-intensify-hurricane-harvey/538158/

…in which she blames increased evaporation on warming.

Some other good quotes in there, too, from people who’ve forgotten the devastating (5yrs?) drought in Houston prior to 2015, or the fact that it was mostly bayou and marsh land before 1920, and who are ignoring the growth and development in that city over the past 50 years.

    • Andy DC says:

There have been many hurricanes in Texas going back to the 1800’s that were as strong or stronger than Harvey. What voodoo caused those to intensify?

      • Adamant de-Nye-er says:

Bet Tony could do a graph that showed how party politics creates natural disasters. But this is driven by the need to sell air time, sell newspapers, or more recently create clickbait. Hysteria sells.

  2. Matthew Robinson says:

Today’s Guardian (UK) blames rising CO2 levels for the current absence of snow on Ben Nevis, Britain’s tallest mountain. https://www.theguardian.com/environment/shortcuts/2017/aug/27/snow-go-why-ben-nevis-is-frost-free-for-the-first-time-in-11-years
The article states that this year’s August temperatures are the third highest since 1910. Oh dear. CO2 levels in 1910 were … 299!

  4. arn says:

Hayhoe would even blame her husbands impotence on global warming
if she could get more money that way.

  5. Rah says:

Hayhoe, like Mann, always lectures and rarely if ever debates.

  6. Adamant de-Nye-er says:

Another one! Hayhoe again, how increase in sea level makes tropical storms rainier:
