Off topic, but I’d like to share a link to a few weeks of possible amusing entertainment as another group of wishful thinkers adventures for the mythical ice-free North Pole.
“…From there we board two Polar yachts and head North as we try and become the first in history to sail to the North Pole.”

On almost every post I make these days, the first comment is “off topic”

      • Tony says:

My apologies. Love your work Tony.

Sorry about the off topic, but this was too much to resist, and is kind of related to yachting at the north pole:

Climate change study predicts refugees fleeing into Antarctica

Climate change will force refugees to move to Antarctica by 2030, researchers have predicted.

Refugees are expected to move to Antarctica because of the rising temperatures that will see the population of the continent increase to 3.5 million people by 2040.

As the world fails to act on climate change, researchers predict that global trade will collapse as oil prices break through $400 a barrel and electrical appliances will get automatically turned off when households exceed energy quotas.

The climate study envisages a shift to a service based economy, people no longer owning cars but using bicycles and the eastern seaboard of the United States being protected by an eco-concrete wall that generates power from waves and tidal surges.

        • Kris J says:

          Meanwhile, the real future:
          1. More and more proven reserves of oil are discovered and the price stays at about the same adjusted for inflation
          2. No one rides bicycles. Americans keep getting fatter and sitting in front of screens all day
          3. Wave & tidal power generation never really get off the ground due to impossibility of siting and permitting the complex structures necessary, and because of Sierra Club lawsuits
          4. No one moves to Antarctica because the temp. doesn’t rise

lol- we know how this one is going to turn out.

    Thank you!

    Very interesting!

    You keep getting better, Tony.

  6. Kris J says:

This video should be played in every private high school in America as part of Earth Science, Chemistry and Physics… and probably Economics and Social Studies. This is every bit as engaging as any of those black and white government videos we were forced to watch. Thank you again; there are literally hours and hours of prep time behind a documentary like this

    • Kris J says:

Picture above: typical summer day today in San Diego. Outside CO2 running at 361 ppm +/- 10 or 20, wind right off the ocean… directly downstream of those Chinese power plants burning all that bituminous coal

To put that in perspective, that’s just one (1) molecule of CO2 gas per every 3,000 molecules of air. To grow tomatoes commercially, you need three (3) times that level. And… the Cal-OSHA permissible exposure limit is 5,000 ppm… that’s FIVE THOUSAND…. which means you can have an employee work all day SAFELY in 5,000 ppm environment (5,000 weighted average).

    • Kris J says:

…and it bears repeating, the entire Plant Kingdom is built from carbon atoms which are snatched out of the thin, wisp of CO2 in the air. The carbon is then built up by the plant into it’s building blocks: cellulose, lignin, starch, and various sugars. Plant matter does not come from the soil. The plant structure comes from the air. This is so counter-intuitive that few people stop to think about it

Eating Sigourney would have saved us from all the democratic worst case scenarios :)

(but as the name Sigourney is anyway stolen by her from a fictional book
which tells a story of a guy who was about all show but no substance andmade his money the illegal way i’m not surprised she chose to go this way.
As she belongs to those group of people who earn money by reading texts others have written and will do anything what her hollywood lords tell her(except immigrating to canada when trump wins) i’m not surprised she did this-
next oscar and next leading role imcoming as reward for Sigourney.

    Excellent, Tony!

I was just battling a moonbat on Breitbart on Delingpole’s article about the EPA “scientist” who just resigned in protest of Trump and Pruit.

He warned all of us that “the climate is coming to get advanced countries!” He warned about the unprecedented and dangerous “arctic warming” and the jet stream . I recommended he check out your site but I doubt he will as you might strip his religion out from under him . He is informed by Skeptical Science which explains why he is so confused.

Just some follow-up facts on this, from Wikileaks:

    WikiLeaks Exposes Podesta-Steyer Climate McCarthyism

he latest WikiLeaks dump contains plenty of insider dirt on John Podesta, the founder of the Center for American Progress and the campaign manager for Hillary Clinton. Perhaps the tawdriest story to be exposed by Podesta’s pilfered e-mails is the bragging by an employee of ThinkProgress, an arm of the Center for American Progress, about how they got Roger Pielke Jr.’s scalp.

A July 2014 e-mail from Judd Legum, an editor at ThinkProgress, to billionaire Democratic climate activist (and former coal-mine investor) Tom Steyer exposes the climate-change McCarthyism that the Left — and its myriad allies in the liberal media — use to discredit or silence anyone who doesn’t adhere to the orthodoxy of the climate catastrophists.

In the e-mail, Legum boasted to Steyer about how ThinkProgress had silenced Pielke by preventing him from publishing at Nate Silver’s then-new website,, on the issue of climate change. Legum was also asking Steyer, indirectly, for more money. Steyer and Podesta both sit on the board of the Center for American Progress. Between 2008 and 2014, Steyer gave the Center for American Progress some $3.85 million. I’ll come back to the specifics of that e-mail shortly.

First, some background. Pielke, a professor at the University of Colorado since 2001, holds degrees in mathematics, public policy, and political science. He has authored or co-authored seven books. He has won several awards for his academic work. For about two decades, he was a prolific writer and speaker on climate issues. In 2013, he testified before Congress and declared that there is “exceedingly little scientific support for claims found in the media and political debate that hurricanes, tornadoes, floods and drought have increased in frequency or intensity on climate timescales either in the United States or globally.” During that same testimony, he said that global weather-related losses have not increased since 1990 as a proportion of GDP. He went on, saying that there were also no observable increases in floods, tornadoes, or droughts.

The alarmists have been banking that most people are total morons and would buy into a glitzy video that plays entirely to their emotions, even if it is totally devoid of fact or substance. Thanks, Tony for your excellent video that sets the record straight for anyone that has the intellectual curiosity to watch it.

    Sorry Tony- off piste again-

For those of you who like this kind of thing .

Earth’s climate according to the Pyramids

    the Doc is great fun

    Part one –

    amazing facts –

one of the amazing facts- if you draw a circle outside the base of the great Pyramid and one inside the base and subtract one from the other you have the speed of light.

Great video Tony! You managed not only to eviscerate that ridiculous DNC video, you also presented a well put together tutoial on historic extreme weather events.

Does anyone know how to forward this to Ms Weaver?

  13. LexingtonGreen says:

This is epic. We need Trump to tweet this one. I don’t do Twitter but has this been twittered to #sigorneyweaver #bagofshit or some such thing? Truly golden!
