    It is interesting. I am old enough to remember the liberal ACLU going to court to protect the right of the KKK and Nazi’s to march and/or demonstrate. Now they would likely be supporting the “rights” of liberals not to be offended by such “outrages”.

      Ditto. I didn’t know they had changed, and I [wrongly] used to argue to conservatives that the ACLU would argue for your rights no matter which side of the political aisle you were on. I found out they had changed to left-political hacks, and had to eat my words.

    Of course in the real world no one ever wins an argument with these people. That’s because they don’t argue. They assert, they claim, they shout, they cry, they may even throw feces (and no, I am not exagerating.) But do they argue? Not so much. Arguments imply the use of reason, of facts, and of logic. They never argue.
